First day June 30 2020


Time spent- 1 hour 30 minutes
Deep cleaning and tin removal from the tractor
Total hours to now- 1 ½

July 3 2020
Time spent- 5 minutes
Setting up a time to meet with my mentor
Total time spent- 1 hour 35 minutes

July 6 2020
Time spent- 45 minutes
Met with my mentor, went over location of project, the overall plan, and got a timeline put out
Total time spent- 2 hours 20 minutes

July 7th 2020


Time spent- 3 hours 45 minutes
Taking most of the parts that need to be removed off to make room for the engine swap. This included the gas
tank, wiring, starter, battery, steering, throttle, and coolant
Total time spent- 6 hours 10 minutes

July 15th 2020


Time spent- 1 hour 30 minutes
Took miscellaneous parts off of the tractor to make cleaning the tractor easier.
Total time spent- 7 hours 40 minutes

July 20th 2020


Time spent- 1 hour 30 minutes
Picked up a parts tractor from an auction for $860.00, with brand new tires on it. This will also provide parts
that may be missing or damaged on my tractor. The rest will either be parted out or scrapped
Total time spent- 9 hours 20 minutes

July 21st 2020


time spent- 1 hour 45 minutes
Met with my mentor again, and test fit a stand that he had. It needs custom 1 inch blocks to make it fit. I
drained hydraulic oil from the tractor and gathered some parts that were in better shape than mine from the
parts tractor.
Total time spent- 10 hours 5 minutes

July 23rd 2020


Time spent- 50 minutes
Pulled the engine out of the tractor. I was challenging getting the engine out of the frame.
Total time spent- 10 hours 55 minutes
August 16th 2020
Time spent- 2 hours
Cleaned, prepped, and painted starter, carburetor, generator, fan shroud, and small access panels for
driveshaft and hydraulic pump.
Total time spent- 12 hours 55 minutes

September 1st 2020


Time spent- 2 hours 30 minutes
Worked on cleaning and removing electrical components, and started cleaning the gas tank and frame.
Total time spent- 14 hours 25 minutes

September 2nd, 2020


Time spent- 1 hour
Worked on removing the steering post and wiring from the tractor.
Total time spent- 15 hours 25 minutes

September 15th, 2020


Time spent - 1 hour 30 minutes
Worked on painting small parts, like the steering shaft and radiator support
Total time spent- 15 hours 55 minutes

November 28th, 2020


Time spent- 6 hours
Cleaned front clip and gas tank and primed them. This required scrapping, wire wheeling, wiping with acetone,
and priming it with a paint gun.
Total time spent- 21 hours 55 minutes

December 9th, 2020


Time spent- 7 hours
Worked on finishing priming and painting the front half of the tractor and gas tank
Total time spent- 28 hours 55 minutes

December 18th, 2020


Time spent- 2 hours 30 minutes
Putting the new engine in the tractor. Got hung up because the clutches between the H and 300 are different.
Changed them and it slipped right in.
Total time spent- 31 hours 25 minutes
