Product name: SL-AT 4503 PP

Product description: SL-AT 4503 PP is a combined slip/antistatic masterbatch for the finishing of PP
films for optimized performance of slip, antistatic and optical properties.

Carrier resin: Polypropylene homopolymer

Appearance: Colourless, translucent.

Physical form: Cylindrical pellets.

Applications: • BOPP and CPP films

• PP fibers and tapes

Features: o Retains good anti static properties even after processing at higher
temperatures.
o Ensures smooth runnability because of low and optimized slip
properties
o Unlike other antistatic agents, SL-AT 4503 PP shows extended
antistatic effects particularly in hot climates.
o Low and immediate slip and medium haze

Addition levels: o Between 1 and 5 %. For better performance, use proper inks,
adhesives during conversion. Advance testing is recommended.
o Thin films require a higher addition level than films with a greater
thickness. However, addition levels need be as per requirements
o Corona or flame treatment triggers and increases migration rate of
additives in SL-AT 4503 PP
Combinations: The presence of additional slip and antifog agents may render SL-AT 4503
PP ineffective and which may affect subsequent converting operations.
Furthermore film haze may occur.

Optimum level of antiblock like AB 6005 CP and AB 6005 PP helps migration

Storage: SL-AT 4503 PP is sensitive to moisture,heat, light, etc. and storage in the
original packing causes no issues. However, material from the opened bag
should be consumed fast or re-sealed air-tight.
Shelf life is approximately one year if stored in dry conditions away from heat
and sunlight.

Packing: 25 kg bags on pallets.

Food contact status: SL-AT 4503 PP is authorized for use in food packaging materials. SML
according to the EU is 27,9mg/kg and according to the US-FDA at max. 2.3
