Se usa para:

• Para hablar de que algo pasará en el futuro. Se suele usar con expresiones como I think,
I hope, I’m sure , I’m certain…

• Para hablar de decisiones que acabamos de tomar mientras hablamos.

Pedro: What would you like to drink?

Me: I’ll have a some hot chocolate, please

Mary: Can you help me?

Me: Of course, I’ll carry the bags.

• Normalmente usamos maybe, probably and perhaps con will.

We will probably go to the lake tomorrow. Perhaps/Maybe we will have a picnic there!

MAY

SUBJECT + MAY + VERB (BASE)

SUBJECT + MAY NOT + VERB (BASE)

Se usa para decir que algo es posible que pase en el futuro.

We may go windsurfing or we may go sailing. I’m not sure.

She may not go with us to the beach because she’s tired.

We may go to the lake tomorrow. We may have a picnic there!
