1. What do you think are the opportunity costs of putting dolomite sand in the Manila
Bay?

- I think the opportunity cost is the budget itself that allocated in the beautification of the
Manila bay, that 300 million can be more useful if they just add that up in the budget of the
COVID 19 pandemic. I know that we shouldn’t be focus in the pandemic and every project has
an allocated budget but that money shouldn’t be put in waste just by using it to put the dolomite
in the Manila Bay, that money is in million so it means that it is a big money. Also, if they want to
enhance the beauty of the Manila bay, they should just use the allocated budget for the cleaning
up the Manila Bay. They should utilize it appropriately because as we seen in the news this past
few days the dolomite was just washout because of the typhoon and the garbage are all over
the place.

2. What are the costs and benefits of continuing the education this school year?
- The cost of continuing the education this year is first, it adds up the stress of the student
specially those student that aren’t privilege enough. Those student that needs to work just to
buy load for the online class or to buy gadgets that they can use to in their study. Second, the
parents are the one who’s learning instead of their child specially if they have a kid in the grade
school, commonly they are the one who’s doing the task for their child. Third, the students aren’t
learning at all, they are just submitting what is needed. And I think that is not the kind of
education that we deserve.
One of the benefits of continuing the education this school year is that we are safe at
home. And despite this pandemic, the school year aren’t going into waste and students will not
be delay in their graduaton.
