I. MY OPINION MATTERS

This activity aims for the students to be aware of how the different Alternative
Delivery Systems are used in education.

This activity will be done by the Group (6 members each group). Search for videos that
show the use of any Alternative Delivery System. Write a short review regarding the video of
ADS (please cite/include below the link of the video). Present the video and your review on ADS
to the class. Write your video review below.

ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY SYSTEM: “MISOSA or Modified In-School Out-School Approach”

LOCATION: “Philippines”

REVIEW:

 The video that we watch together is all about the Alternative Delivery Modes here in the

Philippines. The host JC Tejano explained or give a short description about what is ADM or

alternative delivery modes that is within the DepEd K-12 program as part of the Philippine

Development Program. In the video, he also used one of the types of ADM that is known in our

country which is the MISOSA or Modified In-School Out-School Approach which according to the

video, usually used in elementary students. The aim or goal of MISOSA is to provide students a
flexible way of learning giving them opportunity to be educated without going in schools and

entering classrooms. In the video, he explained how MISOSA works as the class are divided into

2 groups namely group 1 and group 2. In the first week, group 1 will be handled by teachers

inside the classroom or school premises while group 2 will learned even they are not attending

class inside the classroom or school making it possible with the help of modules that is given to

the barangay officials or leaders who will now disseminate the modules to students in their own

home. This kind of Alternative Delivery Mode of ADM gives equal opportunity to students to

continue learning even without requiring them to attend the class inside the classroom or

school. After both groups experienced learning inside and outside the school, they will now

merge into one whole class again and will be required to attend the class together inside the

school. This is what the video contains about Alternative Delivery Modes that we have in the

Philippines.

 Different ADS are used to interact with others as they learn from you or you learn from them.

First, there's the radio, which acts as a medium that doesn't need an internet link to link to; all

you have to do is turn it on. Then there's audio tele-conference, which is almost like phone

conferencing. Finally, video-conferencing was used to ensure that the message was heard, as

well as screen sharing and content sharing. In my video, video-conferencing was used to share K-

12 content.

II. EXPERIENCING ADS

This activity will be done by group. The students will stimulate learning
with the use of any Alternative delivery system. Based on their extended readings
on ADS, students will show the advantages, disadvantages, and effectiveness of
using ADS.
Write below the synopsis of the simulation you plan to present in class.
