Benefit

Apart from salary there are some other facilities that employees must get from the company in
order to get the flexibility in the workplace so that he or she stays satisfied with his or her job.
Many successful organisations include benefits with the compensation plan paid and unpaid.

Vacation and holidays


There are 15 days of government holiday in a year in Bangladesh for Muslim and non Muslim in
every aspect of job holder. Those vacations are known to be paid holidays for all the employees
and staff walking with our university. These are known to be annual leave for the employees
This form of leave is different for the security team they are the only staff in the university who
works on shifting basis

If any employee feels like they need more days of vacation they have to propose for it at least
before 7 days only with the condition that for each day of vacation they will be losing 0.5 % of
their base salary in order to avoid misusing their job responsibilities.

Paid leave
Every employee will be having the benefit of enjoying 10 days of paid leave which is known to
be casual leave in a calendar year if the employees feel like they don't want to enjoy this 10
days of leave they can enjoy it afterwards as it will remain on credit.

Medical leave
According to the labour law of Bangladesh the worker can have 14 days of medical leave with
full wage. Our employees are benefited with the same type of facility but they have to have
proper evidence.
In case of any injury during working time the company will be providing the amount of total cost
of hospital bills ..

Retirement benefit
Apart from that, a retirement insurance plan will be offered. In each month 5% of salary will be
extracted and gathered into a medical insurance fund. After retirement the total amount will be
honored to the employee.

Parental leave

When a baby is born it is really crucial for its parents to be there for better upbringing .
According to the labour Law of 2006, in Bangladesh a mother can have a leave for six months
and father can have leave for 15 days. This benefit will be provided to all the employees in our
organisation. If any workers feel like they don't need this number of leave it will be converted
into monetary benefit for them depending on the job position and number of days they what
more than they're supposed to.
All other benefits
Along with the benefits regarding leaves invocation we will be also offering additional benefit to
our employees so that they can work smoothly and have a flexible workplace
● First AID medical service will be free for them and will be available near the academic
building
● To ensure hygiene regular supply of Essentials and equipments will be provided

● For female employee children room facilities will be provided so that they don't need to
worry about their toddler if they want they can bring their personal maid to take care of
those kids this facility enable a mother to work without worry and take care of kid in
between her job

Performance appraisal tool


Performance appraisal tool and something that is used to identify employee or workers strength
and weakness on the basis of skill knowledge, dedication towards work performance
,qualification ,ability and so on. This is vital for an organisation because it helps to collect all the
data regarding an employee's performance and then the employee is given feedback for any
additional support if required so that he or she can improve in her performance in future
promotion and other benefits also depend on performance of an individual.

We use a performance tool every six month on all employees in the organisation. The
performance appraisal tool is being used in four categories of employees in our organisation.

1. Manager
2. Faculty
3. Whitecollar worker( cleaner team, canteen organizer, security team)
4. Researcher and lab assistant

The performance appraisal tool we have managed to use on our employee performance
- BAR- it helps to avoid any kind of unnecessary decision about an employee. If
the employee has professional behaviour and whether he has the ability to work
with peers or not.
- MBO- to get qualitative measurable output that aligns with the company goals . it
also identifies the overall company improvement in units of progression
- 360 degree - it is a tool that gives a clear idea about an employee from the peers
it is also effective in order to have a loyal and effective employee
- GRS- one of the most important tool to find the employees ability of time
management, co operation, critical analysis, problem solving,

Job Title: Canteen organizer

Job Summary

He keeps a record of food, the employee works under him, budget, demand, and
supply or food, and many more. He also monitors the activities in order to maintain
smooth canteen operation and hygene

Job Title: Security officer

Job Summary

The security officer has to make a plan and develop it regarding all the security-related
issues for everyone inside and outside of the campus. His role is crucial for the
organization since he monitors the security camera as well as the physical ambiance of
the campus. He must have direct contact with the proctor office if any kind of theft or
misbehave occurs.

Tasks

• Ensure the safety of students, teachers, and other members working on the
premises.

• Check out and upgrade security protocol and safety measures after a certain
time period as well as provide up-to-date information and report to the administration.

• Oversee the campus security issues and take immediate actions.

• Have to conduct the emergency situation workshop for students, faculty


members, and other staffs

• Communicating with student affairs and administration in order to access the


past report of the student and must have good communication with the proctor office to
take immediate action against misbehaving by anyone inside of the campus.

The main motive for them to keep the university clean and hygienic for everyone. They
also order or refills if any essential item like tissue, soap, and other cleaning related

• Sanctifies the floor and the room. Dust mops, wet mops, sweepers, vacuum
