appropriate sizes shall have knockout for conduit entry and

G.I PIPES: Supply, fitting, fixing and testing of G.l.
pipes of schedule 40(s) of following nominal
diameter with all necessary fittings and accessories
etc. sockets, bends, elbows, tees, reducers, unions,
jam nuts, flanges etc. The pipes shall be of welded
type and suitable to withstand a test pressure of 250
psi. pipes up to 75mm dia shall be of treated end type
and pipe of 87mm dia or larger shall be of flanged
end type. The piping work includes supply and fixing
of hanger, holder bolts, brackets, and clamps supports
gaskets, sealant, etc. It also includes concealing the
pipes, within walls/floor, or laying underground
(wherever necessary). All pipes shall be thoroughly

necessary cutting and making holes and mending the
damages in the walls/floor/calling shall be done up to
the satisfactory of the Engineer-in-Charge. Sleeves of
two size larger diameter shall be used where pipes
run through walls/floors. All consumable required to

cost.
