- Colloquial English (optional) - it can be done but this will not be tested in the final exam.
- Some extra listening should be supplemented, with discretion, from other sources around C1 level.
Listenings dry up in the second part of the book, and question styles are easier than in the
Cambridge exams. It’s important to maintain the standard after First towards Advanced.
- There is a lot of reviewing in grammar pages, set some for homework, then work on common
problems in class.
- Do as many writings as possible, if any have to be left out due to time restrictions, check which
must be done for the final exam.

Listenings dry up in the second part of the book, and question styles are easier than in the
Cambridge exams. It’s important to maintain the standard after First towards Advanced.
