major impacts on Missouri Southern over the past two years. This rang especially true for the communication department. With smaller class sizes and social distancing, the virus truly tested our communication skills with the various changes we faced. For staff this meant focused teaching through Zoom and Blackboard. For students it meant adapting to split classes and constant mask usage.
COMMUNICATION AWARD SHOW
The communication department worked
hard over the spring 2021 semester to prepare the first-ever public Communication Awards Show, now viewable on YouTube. The production crew included sophomores, juniors, and seniors from the communication department and includes award ceremonies, senior testimonials, and a featured Project of the Year. GRADUATING WITH STYLE
The graduation of spring 2021 was
held differently than years prior, with graduates being allowed a total of eight family members or friends to attend. The ceremony featured eight communication students graduating: Alexandria Berryhill, Orval Howard, Jaylon Banks, Sean Cullen, Katelyn Durham, Trevin Lambert, Andre Louque, and Kirby Reardon. Great work Lions!

The last two years also featured some
