PS. EXTRA STEPS TO LESS Overwhelm in Your Business

BONUS #6:
Don’t join a course that teaches, but doesn’t give you
space to create during the same window.

Overwhelm is guaranteed when you’re taking in a ton of amazing

information, but are then left with a mile long to do list, and are out of time
because you have to start on your next launch to make revenue.

This is a common model in the industry, and one that makes us feel
we’re being productive in learning, but doesn’t actually move our
business forward if we then run out of time to implement.

BONUS #7:
Don’t join a community that has a short window for engagement.

Access to help or an expert for a few weeks/couple months means you

have to prioritize that specific topic on their timetable, not yours.

Unless it’s the perfect topic exactly when that’s what you were going to be
pouring into, it creates a sense of scarcity that you need to learn everything
you can on the topic before you lose access, when that might not be the
main topic that would help increase your revenue this month or quarter.

BONUS #8:
Focus more on strategy than specifics.

Just because someone else found that a webinar to an online course,

or a top podcast was their answer to success, doesn’t mean it can,
will or should be yours. Trying to mimic exactly what someone else
did is often exhausting because it simply doesn’t work.

Instead look for those who teach the broader strategy that will allow you to
make it work for your strengths, your audience, your lifestyle. Then you really
become empowered to release certain angles or tactics that don’t work for you,
because you aren’t clinging too tightly to one promised “roadmap for success.”
