Can't find BitTorrent app that was Last updated

installed on the All Apps screen October 10, 2020
i have bittorrent installed on my pc but i cant find it in the ALL Views 67,496
APPS screen or during search...how should i find it?

Hi Rituparna Dash,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Communities. From
the problem description I understand that you are able
to get the bit torrent app. Provide the following
information:

· Have you made any changes on the computer
prior to the issue?
· Is the issue confined to this app?

I would suggest you to uninstall and re-install the

application and check. Follow these steps:

a) Press Windows + R key on the keyboard.
b) Type control panel in run and press enter.
c) Go to programs, programs and features. Uninstall
the application.

I can find the app from Program files in C drive but i

cant find it in the search in start menu. This problem is
not confined to just this application, it is the same with
VLC media player, Cleanup and some other softwares
that i have installed in my laptop.

After installing bittorrent, can't find it in programs and

features but i am able to use this client.

I had the exact same issue. Follow these steps to locate

your missing program.

From the Metro (Start Menu)>Type "computer">click
on the "computer" icon>in the upper right hand
corner of the window you will see a search bar, type
"bitt">you will then see the installed Bittorrent
program, left click once on the icon that is NOT a
shortcut or folder icon>right click the now highlighted
icon and choose "pin to start">you will now be able to
access bittorrent from the metro (start icon)>

I had this same problem. Try looking in the following

directory if you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8.
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent. You
may need to go into your "Folder Options" under
control panel and allow the viewing of hidden files.

Typical obfuscation replay from a corporate jerk. Duh,

it must be your fault, turn it off, turn it on. How can
such clueless people hold a job. Windows now hides
installed program (they call apps) in a hidden folder.
Why? To make life more difficult for us I suppose.
One of responders below finally answers the
question..., which you'd think an employee might have
been able to do, but f-ing NO, they are too stoopid.
Geez, Microsoft how can you not see what jerks your
policies make you, aren't you regular people outside of
your job.

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent
This is the folder you find it in. After you find it open
this folder "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs" or place it on your Desktop or
wherever and place all unindexed files shortcuts there
(Files you cant find in SearchBar). This will index them
in a short time and then you can find them... :) have a
nice day

im not being rude....i m just pointing out the lack of ,

ummm observation? i guess...cause like it says right
about the ME TOO thing at least 20 over ppl (21 with
me) unlesss all those ppl made the same exact
"changes" than most likely its something to do with
the app or compatibility right??? i just dont like
wasting time. thanks for listening to my gripe....btw i
get the fact there are steps hyou gotta take.... blah
blah :-]

WOULD THEY HIDE THESE ? WINDOWS 10 64 , ASUS
Q502LA 2 IN 1 NOTEBOOK AND LATELY THINGS ARE
JUST ALL SLIDING DOWNHILL THE APPS LIKE USB
FAST CHARGE AND ETC ARE CONSTANTLY NOT
