1. Yes, I had also experienced spending a lot of time to make a decision that would greatly
affect me and my future. It was during my elementary days when I was an import for the
Ateneo baseball team. I was offered to be an athlete scholar by the school, but I miss my
hometown, because I was only living alone at a dorm at a young age. I did spend a lot of time
deciding whether I should go home or accept their offer. In the end, I decided to go home and
continue my studies at the school located in my hometown
2. If I were in his position, I would choose a course that incorporates my passion, because doing
what you love is a better choice with lesser room for regrets
3. In order to avoid facing the same problem, I would plan things ahead of time so I could
thoroughly think about it. Furthermore, I will decide according to certain criteria such as what I
love to do, what I can do and what can our family afford

Dear Anton,
Greetings!
I heard that you’re having some troubles deciding what course to take in college. I am
writing this letter to you to send some of my tips that I hope will help you clear your mind and
decide the right course to take. Take my words as a guide and not necessarily be right but I
highly advice you that you take them seriously.
In choosing the right course for you, I suggest that you should organize your priorities
first and plan how these things that you listed will help you. What are your priorities? Do you
want to take the course that interest you but won’t make much salary? Or do you like to take a
course in top universities? Setting your priorities will help you release the thing clogging your
mind making your brain breathe and process new information you needed. Second thing to do
is to make a schedule of your daily activities. You may see it as a waste of time but trust me that
this step will help you. Scheduling what you will do in a day will not only make you an organized
person but also to help your body to be relaxed and released from the stress from thinking.
Make a time for studying, eating, playing, browsing the internet, and even developing a new
hobby. In between that activities, you can make time to think your decisions with clear and
fresh minds.
The last advice I can give you is to aside your worries and don’t let your body be
succumb into the pressure. Think of the future ahead and make your every decision be held
accountable for the outcome of your future. Decide for yourself which can benefit the future
you to you and don’t regret any decisions you make today.
Activity 5
1. During this pandemic, I made quite a handful of right and wrong decisions, mostly was
regarding my orders from online shops. There were times that I made the right purchase
wherein the price is worth the quality while there were also times that some of my orders turn
out to be a luxury rather than a necessity.
2. I did order a lot because I find the items useful; and for the ones that I had regrets buying I
resell them on a lesser price.
