Decisive Person

Let's Try This!

*In making such decision, what are your considerations? Why?

Spending money is a huge part of our daily lives. Over the years, my parents have taught me to
buy just the needs and the wants. Although sometimes, I just want to buy stuff that I want, there are
things that I need to consider. If I buy an item, these are the questions I asked myself; is this worth the
time I spent making the money? If I left the shop, will I still want to buy it in a month? If I buy this, will I
be happy? Do I like it or do I need it?

*List of my expenditures as a student:

-school supplies (bondpaper, ballpoints)

-Art materials

-Running Shoes

-Skin care products

-Medicine

Is it worth your money? Why?

Based on my list of expenditures, I might conclude that they are all worth my money. I'm just
buying the things I need. School supplies, including bond paper, ballpoints, and art materials, are some
of the items that are helpful for my assignment. Every year, I only bought 1 pair of shoes to award
myself. And for my skincare products, these are very necessary to maintain my skin because I always get
rashes and bumps. It is also important to take care of your body.

At this time of pandemic, what should be your priorities? Do you find it hard to come up with a
decision? Why or why not?

The pandemic that we're experiencing at the moment taught me to take better care of my
body. My top priority of all time is to take good care of my body and eat the right amount of food.
Investing more of our well-being. I find it convenient to make this decision because I am committed to
change my body and improve my nutrition.
Processing Questions:

1. How did you come up with such decisions?

I came up with this decision when I found that I've lost too much weight, that I get sick nearly
every month because I've still skipped meal. So I've got to take measures.

2. Who influenced your decision-making skills?

The one who inspired me in the decision-making process is myself. Specifically, the lessons I get
every time I make the wrong decision.

3. Are you happy with your decision? Why?

Not all the time, I'm satisfied with the choices I've taken in my life. Yet I'm grateful for the
lessons I've learned. It helped me to be wiser and stronger person.

Let's Explore This!

1. I've been in a situation where my two close friends are not on good terms. The situation is
complicated because I had to pick who I will go with. So what I did was not communicate to them in a
week to make them know that I was affected by their conflict. Often, you've got to let them explore, do
the stuff they want, because they will realize what they did wasn't correct. I am not the sort of person to
engage in any other personal business, even if you are my closest friend. But if they want advice, I'm
willing to be there to support them.

2. It was the moment that my dad asked me if I could come with him to visit his hometown. That time, I
was really excited, so I said yes. Days are quickly approaching, and I remembered that I had another
meeting on that same day. I was torn from what to do, but I ended up going with my dad. My friends are
upset that I have not been able to come, knowing that I am the one who planned our trip. I apologized
to them individually and told them why I was not able to come.

3. Before, whenever I have a dilemma or a decision to make, I've always called for help. But as I grew
older, I decided it was best to keep it to myself. So I've developed this habit of not talking it out and
just make choices on my own. I don't want other people to get involved in my life. Although there are
moments when I called for advice when I'm just unsure about what to do.

4. When I am working on a group project, I usually get the opportunity to decide on what to do. I am
really pleased about it because they trusted me in guiding the whole team.

5. As we adjust to new working conditions, we must also find new ways to integrate jobs, family, and
everyday living. With few opportunities to leave the house to do tasks that were once part of our daily
life, finding a way to work at home while caring for children and doing housework can be challenging. In
my own opinion, going out is fine as long as we follow safety guidelines. We must still survive this
pandemic. Few people have the ability to work online, while some do not.
Processing Questions:

1. Well, I find the activity personal yet enjoyable. I get to evaluate myself, and I've figured out that I'm
more of a private person.

2. There are a lot of things to consider when making life decisions. You ought to consider not only
yourself but others as well. You need to consider how the potential consequences of the decision might
impact you and the ones you care for. Are you willing to accept all of the possible implications and live
with them? Is your decision consistent with your values? And do I think you're going to regret doing this
in 20 years or regret that I haven't done it in 20 years?

3. The one who inspired me in the decision-making process is myself. Specifically, the lessons I get every
time I make the wrong decision. But the ones who got me down the track are my family. They're the
ones who've been there for me since day one.

4. The pandemic that we're facing right now has really changed the way I live my life. It has also helped
me make smarter choices. From the time I wake up from the food I eat, particularly my daily activities. If
we look for a brighter edge, the pandemic would still have a positive effect on us. We got to spend
quality moments with our loved ones and we have the chance to improve our lifestyle.
