In 1929 Clifford “Pop” Horton established the Gamma Phi Circus as a means of expression and
physical activity for the students of Illinois State University. Nearly a century later the members and
performers are well into preparations for their 90th Anniversary Show coming to the Redbird Arena this
April. Following last year's marvelous Disney themed extravaganza, that has been hailed as their “most
exciting and extraordinary performance yet” there are many who wonder how they can top themselves
in 2019. But they are ready to exceed all expectations. With seven new acts including three thrilling
aerial apparatuses, the audience is in for many surprises. Join us as we transport you through 90 years of
