1. Discuss the relationship of the three Filipino culture perspective.

 Traditional concept- our culture is derived based in our physical, intellectual and
spiritual wellbeing. Example: one of the Pilipino traditions is celebrating Christmas,
believing that Christmas is when Jesus Christ was born. For us Jesus Christ is the savior.
 Nationalistic View- since we are living in the Philippines, we are being identified as a
Pilipino. Meaning we are being describe as hospitality, close family ties, resourceful and
creative etc. because that’s what Pilipino do.
 Cultural dualism- this perspective is a combination of different culture of colonialization.
Example: since we are being colonize by the Spaniards, we exercise and practice the
Christianity nowadays.

These three perspectives show how culture being exercise by the all the Pilipino which help us to build
the values, beliefs and personality as person.

2. Discuss the importance of medias development process in the Philippines.

KOMICS

Komiks has been studied both the mass communication and literacy- cultural approaches in the
magazine and journal articles. (Dr, Reyes sees s the komiks as having taken on different roles:
“Purveyor of entertainment and moral lesson, disseminator of values and attitudes, and even a
source of practical knowledge and farming, government policies, medicine and science”). Since
although norms and methods, it takes the komiks as phenomenon of popular culture.

3. Discuss the relationship of factors that influence Filipino Personality

 Biological Inherent-
Brain is the most important factors of personality determinant.
Physical factors- physical feature may involves height, color and health status
Heredity factors- these factors not only effect the physical feature of a person, but the
intelligence level, attentiveness, gender, etc. all get affected by them.
 Environmental Factors-
Geographical- man comes to the form idea and attitudes according to the physical
environment he lives in.
Physical- determines cultural development and to the extent, that culture in return
determines personality.
Social- family, peers, co-workers.

4. Choose one specific deviant behavior of the Filipinos and discuss it using a deviant theory that
could explain it.
Social Disorganization theory- believes that deviant as caused by breaking down of norms and
other important values of society.

Since Covid-19 pandemic is spreading all over nowadays, the government exercise
health protocols so that the increasing of death will minimize. Most of the Pilipino people will
not take the pandemic as serios so it happened that instead of wearing a mask, observe social
distancing. They break it. The number of Covid-19 patient is increasing and the virus is
spreading.
