ICT Suggested List of Activities

Project Name: 3D Geometrical Figures

Project Objectives:

Set A – Creating 3D Models

 Create creative geometrical figures in 3D model to showcase in the MathScie Event

 Creates an interactive 3D model of the different geometrical figures where the students can
manipulate to understand how does a figure and plane moves and its properties.
Set B. – Simulation of game
 Using simulation project students will create figures (object) that can move around the
environment.
 Play geometry dash game or a simple reach the finish line.

Target Date: Mathematics Month

Scope of Activities:

 Using Scratch to create geometrical line models.

 With a step by step procedure to follow, the students will create their plane figure to be as their
character to move around in the Scratch project.
 The students can observe their figure in any directions and conceive the 3D object as a real
figure in life.
Set B
 The students will create a plane or figure to be their character in the game simulation.
 Using the virtual controls, the student will move the figure around the Scratch environment
avoiding obstacles and reaching the finish line.

Project Requirements:

 Computer Laboratory
 Scratch Program
 Teachers or students to serve as facilitator in giving directions and tutorials to the visitors of the
booth.

Project Name: ICT Week - Robotics

Project Objectives:

 Showcase the different computer learning areas per grade level

Grade school
 Showcase robotics technology in relation with human assistance and navigation in field.
Middle School
 Showcase robotics technology in related to computer programming.
High School
 Showcase robotics technology in related to disaster prevention and safety precautions.

Target Date: ICT Month

Scope of Activities:

Grade School - Competion

 Each level will have a representative to demonstrate the application of robotics.
 Using the programs in Scratch they will compete on a set of given task
o Moving around the circle
o Moving forward, left, right, and backward
o Lifting small objects
o Moving around terrains and obstacles
 The students will discuss the importance and use of robotics.
Middle School - Competition
 Each level will have a representative to demonstrate the application robotics
Set A - Programming
 With the given model. The students must attain to make the model work depending on the
given instruction of the facilitator
It maybe: Producing a sequence of display in the LCD. Producing a pattern in turning on and off
led lights, or as what the manual contain.
Set B
 The student will build a model and create the program to attain one of the instructions
o Using the 4 Seven segment display – students will create a real time clock
o Using the LCD – students will create a series of text
o Using the LED lights – students will create a specific pattern of lights
o Or any on the performance present in the module
High School - Competition
 Each level with have a representative.
 Using the kit. Students will create real life model of the following:
o Water level detection
o Smoke/Fire detection
o Safety lock and automatic key access
o Motor Level turner
o Temperature Detector
o Heat Sensor
o Sound Wave Detector
o Sound Alarm
o Or any of the modules present in the manual
