INTRODUCTION
In the following work we will make a summary about the distribution of the producto
and its components such as mode and means of transport.
OBJECTIVES
Specific objectives
1. Determine the importance of handling in the distribution of the product.
2. Identify the different modes and means of transportation for distribution.

Transportation modes
The choice depends on the size and urgency of the shipment.
• The road: It is very cheap, but it is not ecological, it may have restrictions
regarding its height and width.
• Rail: Rail transportation is fast, can be expensive, and is flexible with its
deliveries. Sending cargo by train is very economical.
• Air: Air transport is very fast but expensive and not very ecological, air freight
is charged per kilogram.
• Sea: Transportation is cheap especially if large volumes are shipped.

CONCLUSIONS
• It can be concluded that the distribution of the product as part of the comercial
activity implemented in an organization is important for its optimal
performance, which requires a rigorous study of the transport networks.
• Through a good distribution of the product, costs can be reduced and the
profitabilit of the objectives proposed by companies can be increased to
guarantee customer satisfaction.
