Holiday Flowers

In Mom’s flower garden, chrysanthemums always grow


Straight like many colorful toy soldiers in a row
With colors as red, white, and yellow, too.
They are nature’s Christmas presents for me and you.

Their colorful petals are shaped like a star.


That glitters and sparkles from near or far.

Winds make them dance and sway.


Back and forth every other day.

In Mom’s garden, chrysanthemums still bloom.


Like songs that are sang in a lovely tune.
