Al-hujurat (THE ROOMS)

[49:13-18]

49:13

َ َ‫يَـٰٓأَيُّ َها ٱلنَّاس إِنَّا َخلَ ْقنَـكم ِمن ذَكَر َوأنثَى َو َجعَ ْلنَـك ْم شعوبًا َوقَبَآٰئِ َل ِلتَع‬
‫ارف ٰٓوا ۚ إِ َّن‬
‫ع ِليم َخ ِبير‬ َ َّ ‫ّلل أَتْقَىك ْم ۚ ِإ َّن ٱ‬
َ ‫ّلل‬ ِ َّ ‫أَك َْر َمك ْم ِعن َد ٱ‬
O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that
you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of
you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Aware.

49:14

۞ ‫سلَ ْمنَا َولَ َّما يَدْخ ِل‬ ْ َ ‫ت ٱ ْْلَع َْراب َءا َمنَّا ۚ قل لَّ ْم ت ْؤ ِمنوا َولَـ ِكن قول ٰٓوا أ‬
ِ َ‫قَال‬
َ ‫ّلل َو َرسولَهۥ َل َي ِلتْكم ِم ْن أ َ ْع َمـ ِلك ْم‬
‫ش ْيـًٔا ۚ ِإ َّن‬ َ َّ ‫ٱ ْ ِْلي َمـن ِفى قلو ِبك ْم ۚ َو ِإن ت ِطيعوا ٱ‬
‫غفور َّر ِحيم‬ َ ‫ّلل‬
َ َّ ‫ٱ‬
The bedouins say, "We have believed." Say, "You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], 'We have
submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will
not deprive you from your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

49:15

‫ّلل َو َرسو ِل ِهۦ ث َّم لَ ْم َي ْرتَابوا َو َجـ َهدوا ِبأ َ ْم َو ِل ِه ْم‬

ِ َّ ‫ِين َءا َمنوا ِبٱ‬ َ ‫ون ٱلَّذ‬َ ‫ِإنَّ َما ٱ ْلم ْؤ ِمن‬
َ ‫صـدِق‬
‫ون‬ َّ ‫ّلل ۚ أولَـٰٓئِكَ هم ٱل‬ ِ َّ ‫س ِبي ِل ٱ‬
َ ‫س ِه ْم فِى‬ِ ‫َوأَنف‬
The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then doubt not but
strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful.

49:16

ِ ‫ت َو َما فِى ٱ ْْل َ ْر‬

‫ض ۚ َوٱ َّّلل ِبك ِل‬ َّ ‫ّلل ِبدِينِك ْم َوٱ َّّلل يَ ْعلَم َما فِى ٱل‬
ِ ‫س َمـ َو‬ َ ‫ق ْل أَت َع ِلم‬
َ َّ ‫ون ٱ‬
‫ع ِليم‬
َ ‫ش َْىء‬
Say, "Would you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and
whatever is on the earth, and Allah is Knowing of all things?"
49:17

‫علَ ْيك ْم أ َ ْن‬

َ ‫سلَـ َمكم ۚ بَ ِل ٱ َّّلل يَم ُّن‬
ْ ‫علَ َّى ِإ‬
َ ‫سلَموا ۚ قل َّل تَمنُّوا‬ ْ َ ‫علَ ْيكَ أ َ ْن أ‬َ ‫ون‬ َ ُّ‫يَمن‬
َ ِ‫صـ ِدق‬
‫ين‬ َ ‫ْلي َمـ ِن إِن كنت ْم‬ ِ ْ ‫َهدَىك ْم ِل‬
They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islām. Say, "Do not consider your Islām a favor
to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be
truthful."

49:18

‫ون‬ ِ ‫ت َوٱ ْْل َ ْر‬

َ ‫ض ۚ َوٱ َّّلل َب ِصير ِب َما ت َ ْع َمل‬ ِ ‫س َمـ َو‬
َّ ‫ب ٱل‬ َ ‫ّلل َي ْعلَم‬
َ ‫غ ْي‬ َ َّ ‫ِإ َّن ٱ‬
Indeed, Allah knows the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Seeing of what you
do.
