This article looks at the history of change made to Lake Superior the smallest lake

in Michigan. It is changing rapidly due to climate change and becoming much warmer

even in the winter months. After many lab reports done on Lake Superior it shows that in

the future there will be many blooms. The purpose is to try and pay closer attention to

this lake and eliminate the blue-green blooms.

This article talks about how the Great lakes are doing great at the moment

compared to other lakes. It is cleaner and climate-resilient but with the climate change

increasing at a rapid speed it is bound to change for the worse. Chicago-Michigan

connection of lakes means that a plan has to be put in place to fix the issues. Turning off

peoples water is not the solution because everyone needs water to live and everyone

should have access to clean water. Biden created the Water Act which would give the

This article continues to elaborate on the fact that the Great Lakes are changing

rapidly. Researchers are stating that the future doesn’t look good. The levels of the lakes

are changing, which is affecting fisherman, cleanliness, and basic water needs. Weather

and temperature including storms plays a major role.

This article talks about how Lake superior is the most overlooked lake. As it does

have many positives all great things have downsides. The downsides listed in this article

are the fact that fisherman are limited to the amount of fish they are able to catch.

The Great Lakes are warming. For the coldest and largest of the lakes, Lake

Superior, that could mean a lot of changes. Researchers are still sorting out what the

future might be, but a lot of it doesn’t look good. One of the changes that the people are

worried about is the volatility of the lake levels. Lake Superior is not just warming; it’s

warming faster than its surroundings.
