8 Ball Set: Jim and Dave exchanged the first four games with Jim taking

8th # 5 Jim Vohs 67 in game 2 but that was all Jim could muster. Dave posted wins in the
9th #16 Jaret Wilson 62 next three games to take the set, 4-1.Good shooting by both players in a

Table 2: #1 Scott Kroll vs #10 John Kimmell: 8 Ball Set: After John took the first two games in the set, Scott came
firing back and posted the next three games in his win column. John then went to work and nailed wins in the next 2
games to take the set 4-3. 9 Ball Set: John again led the way with 2 opening wins which included a quick win in game 2
with a 1-9 combo. Scott got on board winning game 3 and then John hit the hill winning game 4. Scott slowed him down 1
more time in game 5 before John finished the set, 4-2. 10 Ball Set: It was all John in the set as he kept Scott off the
score sheet taking all four games. A good effort by Scott and nice shooting by John.

Table 3: #13 Doug Johnson vs #6 Gary Loverde: 8 Ball Set: The first four games were split. When Doug broke Gary
won the game and when Gary broke Doug won the games. It was two all when Gary took off and notched back to back
wins in games 5 & 6 to take the set, 4-2. 9 Ball Set: Doug opened with a win in game one and Gary tied it with a win in
game 2. Doug nailed a 5-9 combo in game 3 and posted a win in game 4 to get on the hill. Gary made one more attempt
to catch Doug to no avail as Gary won game 5 and Doug finished off the set for a 4-2 set win. 10 Ball Set: It looked like
Doug took a cigarette break and never came back as Gary notched wins in all four games to shut Doug out in the set.
Good try by Doug & good shooting by Gary.

Table 4: #16 Jaret Wilson vs #4 Joe Lopiccola: 8 Ball Set: Jaret opened the set taking game 1 and then did more
sitting than shooting as Joe won the next three games to get on the hill. Jaret found his final win in the set in game 5 and
then Joe notched the final win in game 6 for a 4-2 set win. 9 Ball Set: Joe opened with a win and did not stop until he
finished the fourth game of the set, shutting Jaret out, 4-0. 10 Ball Set: Joe took the first game and then Joe had some-
thing done to him that he has been doing to others. Jaret took game 2 on the 3 foul rule. That seemed to give Joe more
incentive to finish the set. He took game 3 and used the 3-10 in game 4 to get on the hill. And guess what Joe did in
game 5 to win the set, yessiree bob, he got Jaret on the 3 foul rule to win the set, 4-1. Good try to Jaret & good shooting
by Joe. Final: #4 Joe Lopiccola (15) #16 Jaret Wilson (3)

Table 5: #14 Marty McCuiston vs #5 Jim Vohs: 8 Ball Set: The first set dictated that this would be a close match
between two evenly matched players. Marty jumped out taking the first two games. Jim then got on a roll and took the
next three games to get on the hill. Marty found a few openings and finished off the set winning the final two games for a
4-3 set win. 9 Ball Set: Marty again jumped out quickly posting wins in the first two games. Jim took game 3 and then
Marty got on the hill. Jim V went to work taking the next three games to take the set 4-3. This match was all tied up.
10 Ball Set: For the third set in a row, Marty took the first game but then stalled out. Jim started with a win in game 2 and
did not finish until he had finished the set, 4-1. Good shooting by two good players.

Table 6: #11 Mike Jernigan vs #9 Mike Bates: 8 Ball Set: Mike J opened the set with a win with Mike B winning the
next two games. It was all Mike J from that point on taking the next three games and the set 4-2. 9 Ball Set: This set
belong to Mike Jernigan as he posted the opening win in the set. Just like a magnet, the 1 ball seemed to set up perfectly
next or by the 9 ball for combinations. Mike nailed three 1-9 combo’s in a row to take the set 4-0. 10 Ball Set: This set
went back and forth between two good shooters. The players alternated wins with Mike B notching a 1-10 in game 3.
Mike J hit the hill first but Mike B took the final two games to take the set, 4-3. Good effort by Mike B who ran into a hot
shooting Mike J. Good shooting by both Mike’s in a tough match.

Table 1: #6 Michael Servitto vs #3 Jim Barkatt: This was a rematch from last weeks position round and Jim was looking
for a bit of revenge after last weeks whippin. 8 Ball: Jim took game one and Michael won game two. That was Michael’s
last win in the set as Jim notched the next three wins to take the set 4-1. 9 Ball: Michael rebound taking the first two
games in the set. Jim replied with his own back to back wins. This set would end with the final back to back wins for
Michael with a 4-2 set win. 10 Ball: A lot of doubles in this match as Michael opened up with two wins in the set. Jim then
put together wins in the next three games to get to the hill. Michael popped in a 8-10 combo in game 6 and then held off
Jim in game 7 to take the final set, 4-3. This was a close match between two good shooters.

Table 2: #11 Ray Ressler vs #9 Matt Dessert: 8 Ball: Matt was shooting excellent the entire match as he found several
opportunities as well as some nice shooting to take the first two games. Ray posted his only win in the set winning game 3.
Matt finished off the set for a 4-1 set win. 9 Ball: This was more of a set as Ray seemed to get some of his shooting skills
back in play. Matt opened the set winning game 1 with Ray tying him taking game 2. Matt made a 1-6-9 combo to take
game 3 and got on the hill winning game 4. Ray fought back and took games 5 & 6 to get on the hill with Matt. The break
favored Matt as a ball dropped and the 9 ball was a sitting duck for a 1-9 combo which Matt completed to win 4-3. 10 Ball:
Ray seemed to get back on track in the set and jumped out to a 3 game lead over Matt. Matt posted a win in game 4 and
then Ray finished off the set with a win in game 5 for a 4-1 set win. Good shooting by Matt and nice effort by Ray.

Table 3: #12 Jack Ressler vs #8 Mike Bates: 8 Ball Set: Mike continues to play well and took game one in the set.
Jack came back and made the 8 ball for a win in game 2. That was all Jack would get a Mike took the next three games to
win the set 4-1. 9 Ball: This set was identical with Mike popping in a win in game 1 and Jack notching game 2. Again,
Mike showed why he is in first taking the next three games to finish off the set 4-1. 10 Ball: Jack could not make a dent in
the set as Mike took all four games to shut out Jack, 4-0. Good effort by Jack against a very formidable opponent.

Table 4: #2 John Surhigh vs #7 Nick Pasque: 8 Ball: John Surhigh seemed to have his way with some nice shooting
and tough leaves as he takes a 3 game lead in the set. Nick found a win in game 4 and then watched his chances dissolve
when John notched a win in game 5 for a 4-1 set win. 9 Ball: This was all John as Nick could not find any wins in the set.
John sweeps 4-0. 10 Ball: Nick seem to get some of his shooting eye back as he opened the set with a win. John contin-
ued to shoot well and posted back to back wins in games 2 and a 3-10 combo in game 3. Nick again fought back and
nailed wins in game 4 & 5 to get on the hill looking to take the set. Unfortunately he could not hold off the sharp shooting
John who won the final two game to take the set 4-3. Good try by Nick and nice shooting by John.

Table 6: #10 Walter Wnuk vs #1 Todd Cook: 8 Ball: This was a very competitive match between two good shooters.
Todd came out quick and notched the opening two wins. Walter found a win in game 3 before Todd took game 4 to get on
the hill with a 2 game lead. Walter found one more win before Todd put the set to bed winning game 6 and a 4-2 set win.
9 Ball: Walter nailed a 9 ball on the break to take game 1. Todd did not get distracted and came right back to win games
2 & 3. Walter then put together two good games to take the set 4-2 that evened up the match at 7 each. 10 Ball: Walter
continued his excellent shooting and jumped on Todd taking the first three games of the set. Todd notched a 8-10 combo
to take game 4 but that was it as Walter made a 10 on the break and then won the game to take the set 4-1. This was a
good match between two very good players. Nice shooting by both players.
