Materials:
 Yarn, approx. 10 grams for 5 scrubbies*
 5.0 mm hook (US H/8, UK 6)
 Needle and scissors

*For this project I’ve used Drops Paris, but any 8/8 cotton yarn
will do. Cotton can stand being washed at high temperatures,
and is therefore a good material for face scrubbies.

Gauge:
Gauge is not important for this project, but for reference if substituting yarn, the gauge for Drops
Paris is 17 sts / 10 cm (4 in).

Ch - chain

Sc - single crochet
Sl st - slip stitch
St(s) - stitch(es)
R1 7sc in MR. Join with a sl st in first sc. (7scs) yo - yarn over

R2 Make 1 puff st in each sc;


Ch3, yo and draw up a loop through the sc until seven (6+1) loops on hook.
Yo again and draw through all loops. Secure with a sl st on top, ch3 and sl
st in same sc in which you drew up loops. Sl st into next sc. Rep until you
have one puff st in each sc. Break yarn and secure both ends well.
(7 puff sts)
