Blanket
The blanket to this comforter is a standard
granny square pattern. It is fun to play with
combinations of colors.

There are many ways to start and make a

standard granny square, this is what I have
adapted to work best for me. Some granny
squares are made with one right side, m eaning
the square is not turned after every round. Other
squares are made with turning after every round
 he benefit to turning,
so there is no right side. T
is the square will even itself out and not end up
slanted to one side when finished. This leaves a
cleaner looking square. In this square, you will
not be working into the stitches of the previous
round, you will be working into the ch1, or ch2
sp(corner) of the previous round. When
changing color, attach new to any corner or ch1 Rnd 5 and on: Follow along in this manner. At
space from the previous round, pull up a loop, the beginning of the round, dc, ch2 and turn,
and carry on with the pattern. Take care to sew every ch1 space gets [3tr, ch 1] and every corner
in your ends as you move up your blanket, to gets [3tr, ch2, 3tr] and then a ch 1.
save yourself time when finished.
Using 4mm hook You can make this blanket as big or as small as

Sewing the Blanket All Rights Reserved
to the Elephant
Sew the blanket to the elephant with the arms
open first. Make sure it is secure before you sew
the arms together. Take care to sew the blanket
to the back of the head to cover where the arms
have been sewn on. Also make sure that you sew
the blanket securely to the arms and head so it
will not move when it is tugged on.
