The Indian Maritime University is proposed to procure textbook for B.Tech – Marine
Engineering students (III, V and VII semester). Kindly send the quotations for the same and

Terms & Conditions:

1. The rate for the textbook to be kept confidential manner and sent in a sealed
cover. Without seal the same shall be rejected.
2. The quotation received through e-mail or without closed cover will not be
accepted.
3. The supplies should quote the rate as per the specifications given above. If the
quote is given other than the specification will be rejected.
4. Delivery period should be within 15 days from the purchase order.
5. The Delay in delivery of books will attack penal clause as per GFR GOI.
6. The rates should be quoted in detailed manner with Basic price, Tax, Transport,
Packing & Forwarding charges if any.
7. Discount if any should be mentioned item wise.
8. The payment will be made after successful Delivery of text books at IMU, ECR
Road, Uthandi, Chennai – 119.
9. IMU reserve rights either to accept or reject any of the tender or all the tenders.
10. Due to the exigency of the demand, IMU reserves right to procure the whole or a
part of the books.

The quotation shall be sent in a sealed cover superscripting “Quotation for

supplying textbooks to Marine Engineering students,” addressed to
The Head (Marine Engineering), Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road,
Uthandi, Chennai 119.

The sealed quotation should reach this office on or before 6 th August 2014
