Creates highly intricate drawings of plants and animals that
pertain to the ancient art of healing and Italian folklore
He uses many layers to create rich colour and depth – making his
artwork look like it was created with wet material (water colour,
paint)

CREATE A COLOURED PENCIL STUDY

1. Create a colour wheel using only the primary colours: red,


yellow, and blue (separate piece of paper)
2. Create swatch gradients for each of your coloured pencils
and label them
3. Create a complementary blend (e.g. red to green)
4. Create an analogous blend (yellow to red)
