INDICATIONS FOR THE CORRECT

CELEBRATION OF THE GNOSTIC


LITURGY

ALTAR DISPOSITION
The Altar will be covered by a white, linen tablecloth,
and on the tablecloth the GNOSTIC ANTIMINS will
be placed: a small tablecloth, of the size of the Altar,
where it will be inscribed in red:

- In the centre: The Chrismon ☧ (Monogram of


Christ).

- In the upper left quadrant: The Byzantine Cross ✝


.

- In the lower left quadrant: The letter Alpha α.

- In the upper right quadrant: The Greek Cross ✚ (or


the Cross of Saint John).

- In the lower right quadrant: The letter Omega Ω.


- In the back: a small bag is joined where the relics of
the Saints are placed. The Chalice (with wine) and
the Paten (with bread) are placed in the centre of the
ANTIMINS (on the Chrismon).
Behind the Antimins, a Crucifix is placed flanked by
two white candles. In front of the Crucifix, a small
lamp with olive oil burns.

At the right side of the Antimins, the Holy Scriptures
are placed and at the left side, the censer. A lectern
may be used, in whatever side, to lean the Missal.
Next to the Altar, a small table will have Wine, Water
(mineral) and bread to replenish the sacred vessels.

GNOSTIC-CATHAR MASS

GENERAL DISPOSITIONS
a. An Altar facing East.
b. On the Altar, in the centre, a symbol R+C (a cross
with seven equal lamps or with seven bright roses,
or a candelabrum with seven candles).
c. The Altar will be covered with linen tablecloths (3
tablecloths).
d. Three vessels: two with wine being one of them
placed at the right side and the other one at the left
side of the Altar, and the third one with water
placed in the centre.
e. Hosts or bread for the communion.
f. An empty Chalice for the sacrifice.
g. The Chalice will be taken by the Deacon with his
right hand, following the Celebrant when he enters
the Temple. By reaching in front of the Altar, the
Celebrant will place the Chalice on the Altar in
the centre of the Trigone (three flames
representing the Divinity in its informal and

spiritual manifestation), where the Gospel of John
is placed opened by the prologue, and near it, a
censer is placed.
h. In one angle of the Altar the number 9879 is
placed (it is the number of the last Aeon, starting
from below, which opens all the doors of the
invisible), written in red on a white background.
i. The Celebrant makes every movement always
turning to his right.
j. The Chain is made by intertwining the right hand
with the left one, without crossing the arms and, if
possible, alternating the polarity.
k. The Bishop wears the stole that is hanging from
the shoulders to the floor; on his chest he wears
the cross in gold.
l. The Priest wears the stole crossed in the chest and
tied to his side (a white stole with crosses in red)
and Tau with a necklace in gold.
m. The Deacon wears the stole hanging from the left
shoulder and crossed to the right side, and Tau
with a red necklace stripped in gold.

II. DYNAMIS.
During the Celebration, the Priest will observe the
following Dynamis:
a) At the time of the Salutation, during the
intonation of the IAO: “The Heavens are open
and the Light comes down to the Temple”.
b) At the same moment, during the intonation of
the “Iesus Kristos”: “Christ as the King of the
Universe”.
c) At the time of the Prayer of the 33 Taus:
“Chrestos as the High Priest”.
d) During the assertion: “Christ is with us”:
“Christ protecting the Assembly”.
e) During the Intercessor Prayer: “Glorious
Christ; Hagia Sophia; Communion of the
Saints”.
f) During the “Hagios”: “Christ, the centre of
all the creation and the Lord of all the Angelic
Hosts”.
g) During the sanctification of the Offerings:
“Light crosses on the Offerings”.

h) During “Christ in us”: “The Light of Christ
shines within all the Brethren”.
i) During the final blessing: “From the East, a
light shining upon the Assembly”.

While the Assembly intones the IAO, the Celebrant
lays his hands on the bread and the wine and
whispers the following prayer:

I. SALUTE

All the Assembly, standing, makes the signal of the✠


when the Priest, who is facing East, says:

The Priest sits down and asks the Assembly to do the
same.
The Priest asks for some moments of meditation so
that everybody is prepared before the presence of
God.
After the meditation, The Priest, stands up and goes
to the East, crosses his arms over his chest (the
position of the good shepherd) and intones:
IAO! IAO! IAO!
OH KYRIE SABAO!
OH KYRIE!

II. PRIEST INVOCATION


The Priest kneels down and says the Priest
invocation:
We wave the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Ave! You who established the Earth over the Waters.
Ave! You who spread the Seven Heavens and the
Fourteen Firmaments.
Ave! You who created the Sun and its ardour.
Ave! You who created the Moon and its shine.
Ave! You who created the stars and their names.
Ave! You who created the Angels and their spirits.
Ave! You who organized the Archangels.
Ave! You, who created the Cherubim and Seraphim
with six wings.
Ave! You who created us and gave us spirits.
Ave! Lord of the Four Living Saints: Paramara,

The Priest stands up and says:

He draws the byzantine cross in the air.
The Priest turns and faces the Assembly, opens the
arms in the shape of a cross and says:
Christ is within us!

III. LITURGY OF THE WORD


During the Liturgy of the Word: the passages of the
Holy Scriptures chosen by the Priests will be read.
The Priest asks everybody to stand up and reads the
Gospel (this can be similarly done by some Brother
chosen for the occasion).
After the Reading, the Priest kisses the Holy
Scripture, asks everybody to sit down and gives a
short lecture (it can be also given by the Brother
chosen for the reading).
Once the lecture is finished, everybody stands up.

IV. INTERCESSOR PRAYER


The Priest asks the Chain of Union to be made and
makes an intercessor prayer for all humanity.

He can remember all the ones who suffer and need
the spiritual and material charity, our ancestors, all
the Gnostic Saints, etc.
During the Intercessor Prayer: the dates of the
Gnostic Almanac will be remembered.
Once the Chain is finished, they all remain standing
and facing East.

V. PREPARATION OF THE OFFERINGS


The Priest approaches the Altar of East and, facing
this direction, raises the paten with the bread (with
the right hand) and says:
Blessed are you Lord, for the bread we receive out of
your goodness, the fruit of the earth and the work of
men, which we present you now.
Immediately after, the Priest places the paten in the
Altar, takes the chalice (with the right hand) and
raising it from the Altar, says:
Blessed are you Lord, for the wine we receive out of
your goodness, the fruit of the vine and of the work of
men, which we present you now in this Holy Grail.
The Priest places the chalice in the Altar, joins his
hands together and says:
Accept, Iesus, this sacrifice of ours for Your Glory,
for our well and for the one of Your Church.

VI. EUCHARISTIC LITURGY
The Priest turns West, open his arms in cross and
says:
Christ is within us!
The Priest turns East again, opens his arms and says:
Oh, Jesus, You who came from the Divine Pleroma
and lived amongst us.
Oh, Jesus, You who spilt the Precious Blood and
sanctified the Divine Cross.
(The Priest draws the cross above him).
Oh, Jesus, You who by the Sacrifice brought us
Peace.
You are our Redeemer.
You are our Master
For this, with all the blessed Angels and Saints we
proclaim Your Glory, saying with a single voice:
HAGIOS! HAGIOS! HAGIOS!
IESUS PANTOKRATOR!
All the Aeons proclaim your Glory!
Hosanna at heights!
The Priest spreads his hands over the offerings and
says:
Father of Mercy, accept and sanctify these offerings,
pouring out your Spirit over them, so that they change

for us.
(He draws three crosses ✠✠✠over the offerings)
In Body
(He draws ✠over the bread)
And Blood
(He draws ✠over the chalice)
of Iesus Christos. Amen!
The Priest kneels down and stays for some time in
silence.
Then he stands up, turns West and says:
Brethren in Christ, kneel down for the consummation
of the Divine Mystery!
The Priest turns East, opens his arms, and says:
And when Jesus, our Rabbi, was gathered in the
Cenacle...
The Priest raises the bread above the Altar and says:
He took the bread, thanked and divided it and gave it
to his disciples saying:
Take and eat it, you all, this is my body that has been
given to you.

The Priest turns West and draws a cross ✠ with the


bread.

Then, he turns East again and places the bread back
in the Altar, and kneels down to worship it.
He immediately takes the chalice, raises it above the
Altar and says:
Similarly, once the Supper was finished, he took the
Chalice in his hands, thanked again and gave it to his
disciples, saying:
Take and drink from it, you all. This is the Chalice of
my Blood, the Blood of the New and Eternal
Alliance, which will be spilt by you and by all the
men for the forgiveness of the sins. Do this in
memory of me.

The Priest turns West and draws a cross ✠ with the


Chalice.
He turns East again and places the Chalice back on
the Altar and kneels down to worship it.
Next, the Priest turns West and opening his arms in
cross, he says:
Here is the Arcane of the Arcanes!
Christ is with us!
The Priest turns East again and makes a
genuflection. Afterwards, he stands up and takes
communion.
After taking communion, he turns West and invites
the Assembly to receive communion from the Body
and the Blood of Christ.

VII. FINAL PRAYER AND BLESSING
The Priest sits down with the Assembly and they
meditate for a little time.
Then, the Priest stands up and asks everybody to
stand up and opening his arms in cross, says:
Christ in us!
May He enlighten us!
The Priest lays his hands on the Assembly and says:
May the Peace of lesus Kristos be always with us.
Oh Parakletos, grant us the grace!
Oh Parthenagoras, Hagia Sophia, pray for us!

In the name of the Father ✠, the Son ✠and the Holy


Spirit✠, Amen!
The Priest turns East and raising his arms, says:
Glory to you, lesus Kristos!
Glory to you, lesus Kristos!
Glory to you, lesus Kristos!
The Priest crosses the arms over his chest and says:
Amen! Amen! Amen!
The Priest makes three times the sign of the cross
upon himself ✠✠✠; then he bows, goes down the Altar

and makes the sign of the cross upon himself ✠once
again.

RITUAL

The Deacon opens the door of the Temple and places


on the left side with the hands crossed on his chest,
the right over the left.
The participants enter one by one in silence, and each
one of them goes to the Deacon with their arms
crossed and says:
(Bowing forwards):
PER CRUCEM,
(Standing up):
AD ROSAM.
The Deacon answers:
(Bowing forwards):
AD ROSAM,
(Standing up):
PER CRUCEM.
When they have all taken their seats, the Deacon
purifies the Temple.

INCENSED OF THE ALTAR OF PERFUMES


It is placed at the left side of the Altar. The Deacon
takes the Censer (with the coal already lit) and the

vessel of the incense and shows it to the Celebrant
who takes the incense and, in three stages, puts it
over the coal.
The Deacon lets the first smoke raise upon the hands
of the Celebrant, and then he continues with the
purification.

PURIFICATION
The Deacon invests the Celebrant with the smoke of
the incense, rhythmically, 6 times:

Left Centre Right
Then he goes to the Altar and, remaining behind it,
purifies the participants with three investments:

The Celebrant completes his preparation by lighting
the Trigone:

The Deacon places the censer on the Altar of
Perfumes and goes to the Altar to light the seven
candles that are lit in this order:

While the Deacon is lighting the candles, the
Celebrant says:
1. Be our Kingdom.
2. Be our Fundament.

5. Be our Strength.
6. Be our Grace.

Facing the ASSEMBLY, he says:
May Krestós be with you.
Assembly
And with your Spirit.
Celebrant
I reach the Altar of the High One, who forms the
Mind and produces the splendour of an eternal youth.
The Deacon, having the coal lit inside the censer,
takes it to the Celebrant together with the vessel of
the incense, and this one places the incense in three
stages, saying:
To the Glory of the Eternal Though.
To the Glory of the Eternal Will

To the Glory of the Eternal Action.
The Deacon closes the censer and gives it to the
Celebrant.
The Celebrant initially censes the R☩C, then the three
flames of the Holy Trigone. He walks around the
Altar, from right to left; then he marks with the censer
according to the following scheme:

Next, he makes three circles, wider each time (with


the censer, around the Chalice).
He gives back the censer to the Deacon, who puts it
in its place.
The Celebrant, with his right hand open, draws upon
himself a cross, from the head to the belly button, and
from the left shoulder to the right one. Then, he
describes a circle, always with the right hand open,
from the head to the left shoulder, to the belly button,
to the right shoulder and to the head again. Finally,
he joins his hands in prayer.

ORDERING OF THE INDIVIDUAL MASS


That each Priest of the Gnostic Church must daily
celebrate, within the established hours in
correspondence with all the brethren who form the
Daily Rite for the union with the Egregore of the
Gnostic Apostolic Rosae ☩ Crucis Church.

PREPARATION
A table covered with a white tablecloth that hangs at
each side. The Paten with the host or the bread, a
chalice with wine, incense, coal, a glass with water
and salt. A candle.

RITE
The Priest draws the sign T between the eyes with the
thumb of his right hand, keeping his fist closed, and
with the left hand leant in the shape of a dish, spread
over the chest in a transversal way.
Always with the right thumb, then he draws the sign
of Solomon over the altar.

AT THE BEGINNING, THE WORD EXISTED AND THE
WORD WAS WITH GOD, AND THE WORD WAS GOD.
IT WAS AT THE BEGINNING WITH GOD. EVERYTHING
WAS MADE THROUGH IT AND WITHOUT IT NOTHING
THAT EXISTS WAS MADE. WITHIN IT, THERE WAS
LIFE AND LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN, AND LIGHT
SHINES IN DARKNESS, AND DARKNESS DID NOT
UNDERSTAND IT.

He takes the water from the Altar and pours it on his


hands saying:

BAPTISM OF FIRE AND AIR


CONSOLAMENTUM

The Consolamentum has a Cathar origin and it is


called “Baptism of Fire and Air”, “Melioramentum”
or “Rite of the Re-Awakening”. This ritual has been
collected from the Cathar Sacramentarium, being
deliberately re-elaborated and integrated together
with other ancient texts.
For the Gnostic Ecclesia Traditionalis it represents
the real Gnostic Baptism, not a material one, but
essentially spiritual, and it marks the ritual entry in
the Gnostic Community.

GNOSTIC ORDINATION

INTRODUCTION RITE FOR THE


CONFIRMATION OF ALL KIND OF
ORDINATIONS

The celebration of the Ineffable Mystery is


interrupted and it follows the ordination instead of
the usual lecture.
The Bishop sits on the mayoral seat, which is at his
disposal; he is wearing the Stole and the attributes
of a spiritual authority.
Deacon
He reads:
Souls, you who aspire to the knowledge and the
sight of the city of God; souls, you who are still
struggling in the darkness of the hylic universe
where the prince of this world dwells; come closer to
the edge of beatitude where the pure souls reach.
Souls, you who by remembering your divine origin
wish to go back to the celestial homeland and to the
sight of Jerusalem, at least know its appearance.
The city is of pure gold: clear as crystal. It is not
enlightened by the sun or by the moon because the
glory of God lights and his lamp is the Lamb. It has
a wall of jasper and in the wall there are twelve
doors, and on each one of them there is a pearl, and
its guard, and an aeon.
The city is founded on twelve stones.
The first one is of jasper, like the dark chaos of the
origin.
The second one is of sapphire, like the depth of the
heavens.
The third one is of chalcedony, which is the colour
of the lighting and of the fluids.
The fourth one is of emerald, like the new stars.
The fifth one is of onyx, like the riverbeds of the
earth.
The sixth one is of carnallite, like cooled matter.
The seventh one is of chrysolite, where the glow of
the fruitful sun persists.
The eighth one is of beryl, contained in the
transparency of sea water.
The ninth one is of topaz, which comes from
translucent air.
The tenth one is of chrysoprase, which keeps the
splendour of the spring foliage.
The eleventh one is of turquoise, the colour of the
flesh.

The twelfth one is of amethyst, which shines like the
juice of the grape.
These virtues of the stones are the appearance of
their nature, and the order of their classification
indicates the sequence of the metamorphosis through
which the divine lighting passes before penetrating
in the world of matter, where the city of God has its
foundations.
The twelve stones of the city are the shapes of the
sensitive world, without which the intelligible world
of the Pleroma cannot be reflected. And the twelve
doors of the city are the twelve paths through which
the reconciled souls go back to their celestial
homeland.
And so, we can imagine the city of God as some
kind of dodecahedron of light, whose twelve faces or
stratums limit and repel the gloomy world of the
kenoma.
The Bishop, in the last sentence, raises the right
hand, the INDEX FINGER upwards, the middle
finger and the thumb joined in the end, the ring
finger and the little finger separated from the other
fingers and slightly curved. The gesture expresses
the figure 1, the Superior Soul, the number 100, the
City, the setting Sun.
Deacon
He continues the lecture:
Because the latter was emanated from the divine
Propator, to serve as a prison for the archon and his
angels; and the great arrogant did not become that
way a governor and a prince.
Bishop
According to the tradition that was transmitted to us
by our worthy and holy predecessors, Lucifer, (who
was) the first of the angels, due to his rebellion, was
hastened in the prison of our gloomy atmosphere;
hence the words of the supreme: “Here I am to
create the new heavens and a new earth; and then we
will not remember these things any more”.
Be happy, then, since I am here to create Jerusalem
again for the glory of its people, in joy.
Bishop
He stands up and says:
Pneuma aegion, purify myself, so that I can worthily
fulfil your service. Similarly, may this temple be
purified, so that the lord may send his holy angel to
help us.
For this reason, my sons, prepare within you a pure
heart, where he can take you as a dwelling. All the
glory for centuries on is to him. May it be. We, who
are your servants, who joined by your name come to
your presence to worthily transmit this sacrament
that comes from you, and who receive the traditions
from the apostles of your only-begotten Jesus.

He sits down while the supplicants remain standing
in front of him, and says:
Brother/s, do you renounce to the prince of this
world and god of this aeon; to his pageantry, his
works and all what is part of his kingdom, which
was given to him by inheritance and which serves
for having the souls chained?

One by one, they answer:

Bishop
After the answer of the supplicants, he continues:
Then, in the virtue of the power of which I am
unworthily invested, I free you of these chains in the
name of the omnipotent God, the Father ✠, the Son
✠and the Holy Spirit ✠.
Christ absolves you from all the links, frees you
from any oath and unties you from all the earthly,
human promises, according to the extension of my
power and of your needs.
He also absolves you from all the past mistakes, in
the name of the Father ✠, the Son ✠ and the Holy
Spirit ✠. May it be.
The passion of Christ our lord, the merits of the
divine Panagia, his mother, of all the saints, all the
good you do here in the earth, all your suffering,
serves for the remission of your mistakes, for the
increase of the grace in you and for your reward in
the eternal life. May it be.
Deacon
Then, he reads the Gospel, standing:
Reading of the holy gospel according to Saint Luke,
IX, 1-6:
[Jesus the living one] gathered the twelve of them,
gave them power and authority over demons and for
healing sickness, and sent them to preach the
kingdom of God and to heal the sickness.
He told them: “Do not take anything for the road:
nor a cane, nor a saddlebag, nor bread, nor money,
nor a pair of tunics. Stay in the house where you
enter until you leave that place, and if you are not
received, when you leave that village, shake the dust
from your feet as a testimony against them”.
They went and travel the villages, announcing the
good news and healing everywhere.

LUKE X, 1-24
Mission of the 72- after this, the lord designated
another seventy-two men, and sent them before him,
in groups of two, to all the villages and places where
he planned to go.
And told them: “The harvest is great and the
labourers are few. Pray the lord of the harvest that he
sends labourers to his harvest. Go! See that I am
sending you as lambs among wolves. Do not wear
any bag, or saddlebags, or sandals; do not wave
anybody on the road. When you enter a house, say in
the first place: peace to this house. If people of peace
live there, your peace will rest upon them; if not, it
will return to you. Stay in that house, eating and
drinking from what they have, because the labourer
has the right to his wage. Do not walk from house to
house. If you reach a village and you are well
welcomed, eat whatever they serve you; heal the
sick there and tell them: the kingdom of God is near
you. But if you reach a village and you are not
welcomed, wander through the streets saying: even
the dust of your people that is stuck to our feet, we
shake it. I tell you that on the day of the judgement
there will be more tolerance for Sodom than for this
village”.
He recriminates the cities of Galilee − “Alas,
Chorazin! Alas, Bethsaida! Because if the miracles
that were made upon you, would have been done
upon Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented a
long time ago, covered of sackcloth and ashes. On
the day of the judgement, there will be more
tolerance for Tyre and Sidon than for you. And you,
Capernaum, do you think you are going to ascend to
heaven? You will sink into the abyss. The one who
listens to you, listens to me; and the one who rejects
you, rejects me; and the one who rejects me, rejects
the one who has sent me”.
The 72 come back – The seventy-two came back full
of joy, saying: “Lord, even the demons are
submitted to us on your behalf”. And Jesus told
them: “I saw Satan falling down from the heaven
like a ray. See that I have given you the power of
walking on snakes and scorpions, and on all the
forces of the enemy, without being damaged. But do
not rejoice that the spirits are submitted to you;
better rejoice that your names are written in the
heaven”.
The Father and the Son – At that moment, full of joy
under the action of the Holy Spirit, he said: “I praise
you, Father, lord of the heaven and of the earth,
because you have hidden these things to the wise
man and to the erudite, and you have manifested
them to the simple. Yes, Father, because you have
desired so. My father has entrusted me all the things;
nobody knows the son but the Father; and nobody
knows the Father but the Son and he to whom the
Son wants to reveal it”.

“Blissful the eyes that see what you see! I tell you
that many prophets and kings wanted to see what

ORDINATION OF ACOLYTE
FIRST GRADE
BORBORIONIST (OR SECRET PUPIL)

Approach whoever must be ordained Acolyte.
He approaches and the Deacon continues:
This is the first one of the Sacred Orders and the first
grade of the gnostic initiation: the Acolyte is chosen
among those who have received the Consolamentum
and who have showed a particular zeal in the
engagement of the works of the community, and
who wishes to be qualified to continue in the path of
the gnosis.
The tonsure that qualifies this first stage of the
gnostic initiation must be the visible signal of your
unconditional dedication to the eternal and your will
to serve the Ecclesia.

He is sat, and the ones who are going to be ordained
are knelt around him:
Brethren, let us raise our pledge to the Highest
Propator so that he condescends to accept him as his
faithful servant, his son who, due to his love,
decided to take off his hair as a sign of humility and
to renounce to his profane vanity. May he want to
inspire in him his spirit, so that he keeps immaculate
his clothes of light that he is now willing to replace
to dispel the night.
May also courage, perseverance and strength be
inspired in him, in order to always make even more
externally visible his inner transformation; anyway,
free his eyes from all carnal darkness and always
grant him your grace and inspiration, for He who
eternally lives for ever and ever. Amen.
In the ancient times, the Bishop cut the hair of the
Candidate with a scissor making a crown on the
head, a crown that is the symbol of the new sacred
dignity of which he is going to be invested, by having
overcome the deceitful appearances of the world.
Nowadays, the cut is symbolic, and the Bishop is
limited to cut some hair in the forehead, in the nape,
in the temples, the right and left ones, and on the
crown.
The Bishop stands up and goes to the Altar:

Let us pray:
Omnipotent and Eternal God, we beg you so that he,
your servant, whom we cut the hair as an homage to
Your divine love and who overcomes the vanity of
the world, may continue without hesitations and
remain in the path that leads to You, Ineffable.
For that reason, grant it to him, not because of our
merits, but for the intercession of your Son, the
living Christ, who lives and reigns at your right for
ever and ever. May it be!
The Bishop sits in his armchair. The ordinands stand

From the book “The Pastor”, of the Bishop Ermas:
And the tower asked you, what does my vision
mean?
This tower, the pastor answers me, is the Ecclesia.
And those twelve virgins, who are they? He asks
again.
They are spirits of sanctification and nobody can
access to the celestial kingdom without being
dressed as these virgins, with their own habit.
If you only receive the name of the son of God
without receiving his clothes from his hands, that
will not serve you at all.
Since those virgins are the virtue and the power of
the Son of God. And if you wear his name without
possessing the virtue, you are wearing his name in
vain.

The Bishop, who at the time of the lecture is sat on
his armchair, says:
The lecture wants to warn you that, from now on,
your actions and words will be, in any circumstance
and place, pure and true, and that you will keep to
justice, since with it you will weave, now and for all
eternity, the spiritual habit that you will wear at the
end of this, your earthly existence.
For that reason, on this day, when you are insolubly
linked to the eternal light, I cover you for the first
time with these ideal unstained clothes. May you
always be able to bear in mind the luminous shape
that will have to, according to the superior designs,
be your own dwelling in the great Day of the
“Sabbath”.

FORMULA OF THE INVESTITURE
I [NAME], as Bishop of our Ecclesia, mark your

was the signal of the supremacy over the helmets of
the soldiers used in battle. May it be and constitute
for you, with the own image of the gnosis and the
memory of the victory upon the death of Christ, a
sacred guarantee of the eternal life.
Your duty within the community is to preside over
the preparation works for the celebration of the rites;
to take care of the lighting of the fire; to see that all
the instruments are in their due place; and to
collaborate with the sub Deacon to dispatch all the
necessary actions for the perfect development of the
rite. By being the first one in entering the temple,
you will always have to light the lights, receive the
members and guide them to their respective places.
He puts on him, on the neck, the black necklace with
the TAU and gives him the triple hug.
“Always remember this day, which marks your entry
in the Church of God”.
The Acolyte goes back to the group and the Mass

ORDINATION OF CUSTODIAN OR
OSTIARIUS

The Custodians are chosen among the Acolytes.
They are ordained for the function of Guarding the
Temple and they are entrusted the duty of gathering
the Assembly, of opening and closing the meeting
place and of taking care that everything is in its due
place.
Who is going to be ordained kneels before the
Bishop. The Deacon gives him to drink from a small
glass of tin and lead, which contains water with
some drops of oil and says:

THE ONE WHO JOINS, ACCEPT PROCULUM WITH HUMILITY AND
BETWEEN THE [CODDIANUS]

He gives him the keys, tied together with a green
cord, and says:
Son, consider carefully the symbol of your function:
Your function within the community is to summon
the Assembly, to open the doors of the church of
which you will be the attentive and scrupulous
guard, and during the ritual, you will be entitled of
having the sacred books opened before he who
teaches or reads for the edification of the Neophytes.
But your duty is marked by the gnostic concept of an
esoteric form in the field of pneumatology, of
psychurgy and of theurgy; as you will open and
close the visible temple with the keys, similarly, you
will strive, by the word, and above all, by the
example, in closing the passage to the evil archon
and to open it to God, and to whom comes on his
behalf, the invisible church, formed by the hearts of
the brethren, where they intensely understand, use
and practice the divine word.
May the omnipotent lord grant you his mercy!

people, places, natural elements, vehicles, lands,
objects, animals, sick people, human passions,
images, symbols, events and spirits.
This can be made at any time of the year, according
to the need and to the applications, and its purpose is
to destroy the larvae and the demonic possessions.
In our Church we use a particular text.

The Sub Deacon is the Custodian of the Tabernacle.
His duty is to polish the Chalice and the Paten after
the Sacrifice of the Mass. He must take care of the
towels and of the linens of the Altar and make sure
that the clothes and the royalties are in order for
their use. He reads the Epistles and organizes the
place for the ceremonies and, during the rites, he
stays near the Altar, at the left of the Celebrant, and
he also helps the Deacon in his functions. In the
processions, he follows the Deacon and wears the
Dawn with cord, the Amice and the Stole, that hangs
from his left shoulder to the ground.

The Bishop is sat down and the ordinand is in front
of him, standing, in the position of the good
shepherd.
Prisoner of illusions and of ignorance, through your
inner awakening, you finally got to know who we

we were, where we are walking to and from where
and by whom we were freed; what is to be born and
what is to die.
For that reason, the LIVING Christ came, not to

save us from sin, but as a Light, as a Guide, to open
the direct path to free us from ignorance, to open us
to the spiritual understanding, in which we are
regenerated, because Gold, even if it has been
thrown into mud, does not lose its splendour and
keeps its nature intact, since as soon as the mud that
covers it is removed, it shines again.
Having already achieved the second birth, you grew
up in the interior of our ECCLESIA thanks to the
example of our Master Jesus, for whom you are
about to be received in the Order of the Sub
Deacons; therefore, it is necessary that before you
assume such a lot of responsibility, after having well
reflected, you pull out, within your possibilities,
your definite will.
You are still free, but if you persist in your holy
purpose, kneel down.
After the ordinand kneels down, the Bishop still

ORDINATION OF PRESBYTER
SEVENTH GRADE
BARBELITA = SON OF THE LORD

It is the seventh grade of the Gnostic Initiation and


is also known as the Master of the Seven Voices and
of the Four Powers, and also the TRAINER of the
MYSTERY OF THE GREAT NAME. While the
baptism of water is the mark of salvation (which
marks and distinguishes the new Christian) or the
star of the path of redemption, as well as the
Baptism of Fire and Air awakes the divine germ of
men, the Priesthood or the Higher Initiation
consecrates the future and total liberation from
darkness and from the gloomy forces, inasmuch it
detaches the individual from the profanation and
inserts him in the Pontifical Initiatic Chain between
the visible and the invisible.
It is an extraordinary consecration conferred to
those Deacons who proved themselves suitable for
this sublime ministry by the fact that, answering to
an inner call, they are willing to break any profane
connection with the world to live a system of service.
It is a liturgical action in which the Holy Spirit
confers, through an apostolic succession that dates
back to CHRIST and from HIM to MELCHIZEDEK,
the investiture of the Consecrating power and the
virtue of TRANSMITTING and choosing.
The Lower Orders first, and the Higher ones later,
were nothing but the preparation and the prelude to
turn the individual into a Minister of the ECCLESIA
and a PRIEST of the HIGHEST.

The descendants of Adam made exactly what had

Eternal Angel came down to SEM and

the wine of SEM. And MELCHIZEDEK took them
as the Angel had ordained him and all of them
stayed until evening next to the tomb of ADAM.
Then, from the Height it followed a great clarity that
placed on the body of our common father. Then,
they, full of joy, started to sing. And when the sun
set down in the horizon, the Voice of the HIGHEST
became very loudly for MELCHIZEDEK and
ordained him:
“Stand up and take twelve stones and build an Altar

and eat and drink from this offering so that it may be
the communion between you and he and between
you both and Me”.
And MELCHIZEDEK, after having prayed to GOD
and accepted with pleasure the offering, shared the
bread and the wine with SEM.
And the spirit of GOD came down in the Host of
sacrifice and the mountain shone with a radiant light.
Then, the Angels, rejoicing between them,
exclaimed:
“GOD the HIGHEST be praised, who created those
creatures called MEN and to whom he revealed such
deep MYSTERIES”.
Then, the Verb of GOD said, appearing before
MELCHIZEDEK:
“Behold, I choose you as my priest for all eternity,
and like you and Sem have consummated the first
sacrifice, after having erected this first altar with

to ask for the help and approval of all the assembly,
since, right now, although my heart is exulting joy
for your decision, I am deeply conscious of the huge

someone among you is aware of any shadow or
impediment that contravenes the sublime dignity
that I am going to confer, may speak now or be quiet

Very beloved son, since the Consensus of the
Brethren is the will of the EGREGORE of our
Initiatic current, which has chosen you so that you
are invested with the Power of the keys for the
custody of the sacraments, your precise duty shall be
from now on to operate what is sacred, that is to say,
to celebrate the sacrifices, to bless, to consecrate and

consecrating anointment makes you the messenger
of the LORD between men, so that you perpetuate
the presence of CHRIST as soon as you receive the
power of transmuting with the words of the natural

The Bishop closes both hands again, one against the
other, and ties them together with a consecrated
linen, and lays both hands on his head (if there are
other Bishops, they also do the same).
He gives the new Priest the liturgical instruments.
He takes the Chalice that contains wine and water;
upon the chalice, he puts the paten with bread and
he holds everything in his hands, saying:
Receive the power of offering God the Eucharistic
Sacrifice for the living and the dead ones.
Now the Bishop and the new Priest clean off the
oiliness of the hands with cotton, lemon and bread
crust, and then they wash and rinse.
The Bishop places now the stole in the shape of the
Cross of Saint Andrew on the chest of the devote,
making it pass below the cord of DAWN (tunic),
and says:
TU ES SACERDOS IN AETERNUM SECUNDUM
ORDINEM MELKISEDEK.
YOU ARE A PRIEST, FOR ALL ETERNITY, ACCORDING TO THE
ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK.
May you teach the PERENNIAL GNOSIS,
possessed and practiced by you so that your way of
life confirms its validity.

Assistant Bishops, place both hands on the head of
the Neophyte, saying:

connection between the Intuition and the Christic

Receive the sacred breath of Our Lady, for the
Office and Work of Hierophant and Bishop of the
Gnostic Ecclesia, transmitted to you now by the
Laying on of the Hands.

He kisses the Neophyte in the centre of his forehead.

Only the sword of the look of the Hierophant, the
vehicle of his Will, separates the man from the bee;
the river from the air; the spirit from the sun.
The Bishop can, out of his right, sit down in the
throne that makes the laws of the Cosmos turn.
The look of the Hierophant feeds with Love, because
nothing or nobody can disturb his serenity.
The movement arises from his right hand and the
inertia remains in his left hand.
Only he can turn active into passive and passive into
active.
The Bishop receives the name of Hermit, which
corresponds to the Arcane with the same name.
Therefore, the Hermit is the Eternal Prophet, the
Magician of the voice of Power, the Seed of
everything and the Secret of the Door of the
Initiation in the Higher Mysteries.
He walks alone, carrying the light and the Crozier.
And the light is so brilliant that nobody sees it.
He is not moved by anything external or internal,
and is always quiet.

your spirit, which has been granted to you by the
grace of the Divinity.
