 DIENG FIELD STUDY 2018

On Friday (April 20, 2018) at 22:00 me and my friends gathered at school to conduct a
field study to Dieng. The areas we visited were Tambi Tea Plantations, Sikidang Crater, Color
Lake, Arjuna Temple and Dieng Plateau Theater. And at 23:00 we started our journey to
Dieng. And we arrived at Kali Anget on Saturday at 02.30 AM. There we have to wait until
the sun rises to start the next journey.

After 05.30 we went to get to Dieng, because it is not possible to use big bus we have
to move by small bus. Before we got to the place we had to do breakfast. And after breakfast
we went on our journey. On the trip we saw a very beautiful scenery because we were
diketinggian 1400mdpl.

First, We went to Tambi Tea Plantation. At Tambi Tea Plantation we were invited to
tour the Tea Garden. There we took photos together and had fun while looking at the beautiful
view of the Tea garden. After seeing the Tea garden we headed to Tambi Tea Factory and saw
the process of making it. After seeing the tea making we tasted the result and taste the tea and
eat a little fried. Next we returned to our Bus and continued on our next journey.

Secondly, we went to Sikidang Crater. Before we reached the crater we stopped to see
the Power Plant from a distance. After that we continue our journey to Sikidang Crater. Upon
arriving at Sikidang Crater we smelled the cauldron and it was not poisonous. Around the
Crater we have to do our tasks namely the task of biology and the task of physics. After doing
the task we took the photo back because the scenery at Sikidang Crater is very beautiful. After
that we bought some souvenirs for the family at home and the most typical souvenir is the
Carica candied. Next we returned to the Bus and continued our journey.

And third, we went to Telaga Warna. And certainly the lake is very beautiful and filled
with a variety of green colors. We also took photos because the color of the lake color was
very nice and amazing. There we are only given 30 minutes. After that we continued our
journey to Dieng Plateau Theater.

After arriving at Dieng Plateau Theater we watched about the history of Arjuna
Temple found, Dieng Dieng Life, Hair Gimbal, Dieng crater eruption and a poisonous crater
in Dieng. After watching the movie we continued our journey to Arjuna Temple.
 After arriving in the area of Arjuna temple kmai do dhuhur and ashar prayers because
the temperature at the Temple Arjuna and the water is very cold like ice. After finished our
prayers around the area of Arjuna Temple and take photos together. After taking pictures we
headed to the small bus to go back to Kali Anget. In the middle of the journey we stopped to
see the source of water that is believed to be young Serayu if the face was washed with water.

After that we continue our journey to Kali Anget. We arrived at Kali Anget at around
18.00 and prayed maghrib. After praying we continued our journey to Cilacap. And in the
middle of the journey we had to make dinner and when we were done we went on. And got
home about ten-thirty. We are very happy and will not forget our experience while in Dieng.
At Tambi Tea Plantation, Sikidang Crater, Color Lake, Dieng Plateau Theater, and Arjuna
Temple where we have memories that will not be forgotten.
