Aloha Region 18! Key Club D22 Makai
The Key Clubs of Region 18 would like to invite you to participate in our “Keiki Stories”
reading project. We would like you to participate by sharing a favorite childhood book or
Hawaiian keiki storybook in a video presentation. Please refer to the document attached
for instructions on how to make and submit your video. We have also included a list of
tips to help you to enhance your video presentation.

The goal of this project is to inspire children to enjoy books and to read more! By reading
our favorite stories, we also hope to promote literacy and a love for reading. We hope
that by sharing these stories through our website, we will reach members of our Kiwanis
Family in Hawaii, California, and Nevada.

Our website will premiere on Tuesday March 2nd, in commemoration of Dr. Seuss's
Birthday so if you would like your video to be included on our premiere date please send
your video in by Monday March 1st at 6:00pm. This website will continue to accept
stories as we would love to continue to grow this virtual “library.”

We can't wait to see all of your wonderful submissions. If you have any questions please
feel free to contact me at mayaoishi@gmail.com. Thank you!
