GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The cupellation furnace removes all non-precious metals from samples of precious alloy to be assayed.
The silicon carbide resistances give out a maximum power of 3 KVA on each of the 3 resistance groups.
The new FC0PP furnace has a stainless-steel structure with insulated walls and a cooling system consisting of 3 fans that
allow the flow of
hot air towards the upper part of the furnace, thus facilitating suction.
The door of the muffle is also equipped with an articulated quadrilateral! system which allows the installation of an electric
motor tor automatic opening.
With this new thermal insulation, the external surface temperature in the critical points does not exceed 70-80 °C.

Fume scrubber for acid fumes
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The tower is used to neutralize acid fumes. It is made of
polypropylene sheets and has a nozzle to spray a thick layer of
plastic rings inside of the main body of the scrubber to increase
the contact surface.
The fumes are mixed with air/oxygen before to enter inside the
tower in a mixing pipe.
The flowrate of inlet gas can be controlled by using an Inverter

(OPTIONAL).
The scrubber can be equipped with a pH meter to control the

acidity (OPTIONAL).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The tank
The tank can produce very fine precious metal powders that can be used in
aqua regia refining processes to substantially reduce acid dissolution time
and allow the dissolution of alloys with higher content of silver (up to 20%)
Our graining tanks are made entirely of stainless steel and have a high-
pressure centrifugal pump to impact the molten metal and create the
powder. They can be easily tilted to recover the powder.
The semi-atomization process is made through a graphite crucible which is

supported by a stainless-steel frame fitted with a propane/air burner to
protect the metal from oxidation during the pouring process.

The Tank
The tank can produce both gold and silver perfectly spherical grains and grains
with high surface area for refining purposes (flakes).
Our graining tanks are made entirely of stainless steel and have a
centrifugal pump to move the water and for partial discharge
They are also fitted with special discharge and rapid opening valves for
an easy discharge of the grains into steel containers.
The graining is made through a graphite or ceramic crucible which is

supported by a stainless-steel frame fitted with a propane/air burner to control

GENERAL DESCRIPTION.
Sleeve filters with compressed air pneumatic cleaning systems to filter and separate medium, fine and super- fine powders
with high filtration efficiency and perfect cleansing of the filter area in continuous working.
Dust enters the unit below the sleeve filters through the inlet connected to the hopper. The dust drops into the container
below thanks to a substantial drop in speed. It is subsequently sent to the sleeve filters passing from the outside to the
inside thus depositing any impurities and releasing clean air.
The filter units are complete with sustainer legs, collection container, electrical connections between the valves and the
programmer, inspection port-hole and attachment flange.
The unit is made of shaped plate panels properly painted. The filtering sleeves are made of a special tissue of very high
quality to resist at high temperatures. These sleeves are inserted into galvanized metallic boxes for increasing durability
and resistance.
During the working cycle the filtering unit is kept in perfect efficiency thanks to a cyclical counter- current cleaning system.
Compressed air is used inside sleeves to shake them and collect any dust in the collecting tank placed under filter bags.
The cleaning operation is completely automated.
The filter is fitted with a control instrument and microprocessor that guarantee a “FULL AUTO” function rendering the
instrument completely autonomous in the handling of the filter
cleansing operations, which are automatically increased or decreased depending on actual requirements. The sleeve filter
suction fan is fitted with an inverter to control the speed of the fan. Top Access for maintenance operations.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION IAO/BR250 TWINS
The aqua regia gold refining tumbler is a new technology compared to static refining plants.
Each refining unit consists of one PPL tumbler with a total volume of 400 liters, it is inclined to 30° and rotated by a motor,
with the possibility to adjust the rotation speed. The rotation forces the gold grains to continuously rub against each other
reducing the overall dissolution time. The tumbler has a useful capacity of 200 liters (acids plus gold grains).
External to the tumbler there is a Pyrex glass condenser to condense the acid fumes reducing their overall volume, thus
resulting an easier fume neutralization operation.
The unit can work during the night without supervision.
The daily quantity to be refined in the IAO/BR250 TWINS Gold Refining Plant is of 100 kg/8hr of gold grains with a final gold
purity of 999,5/1000 (minimum).
The rotating system can refine gold grains as well as casting scraps and some types of precious ashes.
The plant is made up of:
• Two PPL tumblers each one with a total volume of 400 liters

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This automatic gold electrolytic unit (AGE) is constituted by 4 cells to produce up to 80 - 100 kg of fine gold per day.
With this plant it is possible to obtain gold with a purity of 999,9/1000 starting from 900/1000 with a
maximum silver content of 5 %. In order to obtain a final purity of 999,9/1000 the presence of PGM metals
must not be over 0,1%.
The equipment is made-up of one Refining Bench divided into 4 polypropylene (PPS) cells and 1 service
compartment for the installation of the level sensors, temperature sensors, addition system and circulation
of the solution.
All the cells are placed under a PVC Hood.
The PVC hood is supported by a metal structure coated with an anti-acid film.
The total volume capacity is about 400 litres. The external dimensions are of about 3000 x 800 x 2500 mm.

Electrolytic tank
The IAAG electrolytic silver refining plants have 275 l capacity refining cells and can hold up to 10 ingots weighing up to
8 kg each.
The tanks are made up of polypropylene and they have a particular shape in order to facilitate the silver precipitation
and recovery.
The production of pure silver is of 15 kg every 24 hours with minimum 60 grams/litres of AgNO3 (each cell).
The tank is fitted with:
• Stainless steel sheet cathodes.
• Anti-acid filter bags to contain the silver anodes to be refined.
• Copper electrical contacts.
• Anodes bars to hang up the Silver anodes to be refined
• Trolley stirring mechanism provided with blades for the breakage of the irregular deposits.

The pyrolysis process is performed in a furnace heated by electromagnetic induction that allows continuous regulation
of power and temperature, at about 800-1000 ° C.
The material to be treated is placed in a metal or refractory container oxygen-free and with nitrogen or argon gas.
In these conditions the material is split into two fractions: gaseous (Syngas or CO and H2) and solid (metals / carbon
residues) that remain inside the container. The developed gas is transferred to an afterburner to complete the conversion
to carbon dioxide and water vapor.
The process that takes place in the total absence of oxygen, at controlled temperatures and higher than traditional
incineration systems, does not generate dioxins.
The process temperature is perfectly controlled by a thermocouple (up to 1200 ° C) which regulates the power of the
generator via PLC which controls the whole process and allows the programming of the working cycles. The atmosphere
inside is controlled by continuous injection of nitrogen / argon to prevent oxidation of the materials.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This refining unit consists of one stainless steel tumbler with a useful volume of about 250 liters, inclined to 30° and
rotated by a motor, with the possibility to adjust the rotation speed.
The rotation forces the gold grains to continuously rub against each other reducing the overall dissolution time.
External to the tumbler there is a Pyrex glass condenser to condense the acid fumes reducing their overall volume,
thus resulting in easier fume neutralization operation.
Another advantage is that it can work during the night without supervision.

T-Barmaster 400 Smart – 24 kW
T-Barmaster 400 SMART (24 kW) is an automated induction melting furnace for
the continuous production of gold and silver ingots (customized shape and weight
of the ingot from 20 g up to 500 oz) in a controlled atmosphere.
The system includes a tunnel-shaped chamber with induction melting technology.
The melting process takes place in isostatic graphite molds, the mold advancement is by means an automated mechanical
pusher. The life of ingot molds is considerably lengthened thanks to patented Pinch Valves™, retention valves to contain
the inert gas, avoiding the entry of oxygen inside the tunnel.
The ingot quality is guaranteed thanks to an automated patented control of the process, which adjusts the ingot
solidification.
The whole process could be completely automated thanks to the conveyor belts that provide transit for the loading and
unloading of the molds.
The system avoids typical imperfections on the ingot surface, such as: formation of waves, presence of withdrawal cones
and presence of crystalline grains.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
T-Brush L
T-Brush L is a compact and modular working station where precious metal ingots are
transferred to be brushed and obtain a mirror finishing surface.
T-Brush is divided into two areas:

- the feeding area;
- the brushing area.
The brushing area is continuously fed by an automatic circular rotating carousel which is provided with customized and
interchangeable templates to accommodate ingots of various sizes, from 20 g to 400 oz Au. Ingots can be loaded
manually or by means of a robot.
The ingots are polished by means of a rotating brushes assembly that can be made of different materials, from the
softest to the most abrasive, depending on the metal and the desired finishing grade. The rotating brushing assembly is
composed of a group of brushing clothes, which are held together by a clamping unit.
The brush is enclosed within a cabinet with one or two front doors for safety and convenience and can only be operated
when the doors are closed. The cabinet is equipped with a suction fan for a constant recovery of any particle and dust
coming from the brushing process.
The operator can constantly adjust the following parameters:

• Lifting and lowering of the brushes;
• Plate rotation and position, plate positioning and oscillation;
• Polishing brushes speed;
• Pressure control by means of proportional valve.
T-Brush is configured to polish the upper ingot face only.

T-Numbering is a compact and modular marking machine for ingots and objects
of diverse materials from plastic to hardened steel.
The electromagnetic micro percussion dot-peen T-Numbering is an extremely accurate column-based marking machine.
It can easily mark codes, numbers, letters, pictures and more on various types of plastic and metal objects and surfaces
(up to 62HRC) and on different surface finishes (flat, concave, convex, circular, raw, machined surfaces, etc..).
The quality and accuracy of the guidance, the wide tolerance between the stylus and the part, the speed and power of

Autosensing is an automated part detection software which ensures a constant stylus/part
distance.
It’s a marking system with self-adjustment of working with digital mechanical lock Z- axis as
a result of the contact with the workpiece.
The digital axis is managed by a controller with a plate to fix the head which includes the
control board and management of a 3rd axis.
This optional implementation is extremely useful in precious metal serializing/logo application due to the roundness of
some surfaces.
Thanks to this system the homogeneity and linearity of the patterns is totally assured.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
T-Pack
T-Pack is an automatic compact and modular packaging and shrink-wrapping

machine for ingots and objects of diverse shape and material.
T-Pack is divided into two modules:
• Packaging tunnel;
• Shrink-wrapping furnace.
In the first part of the machine, a conveyor belt transports the ingot between two layers of transparent film. As the ingot
goes forward, it is perfectly wrapped in the film and then closed on the four sides by a sealing bar.
Another conveyor belt system carries the ingot inside the shrink-wrapping furnace, in which the film rapidly shrinks
thanks to the controlled temperature inside the tunnel.
The packed ingots are finally led outside and can be picked up by an operator to be stocked.
The system can continuously be fed by a SCARA robot (optional, available upon request): the machine can thus
automatically carry out the packaging and the shrink-wrapping operations of the ingots or bars.
The structure allows an easy access to all the areas of the machine to facilitate the cleaning and maintenance
operations.
