Parts of Paragraph, Persuasive paragraph
Students will be able to understand and differentiate parts of paragraph and apply tips of
Persuasive writing.
2. Learning Objectives:
Cognitive: Students will be able to explain what are the parts of paragraph and understand how to write
persuasive by using tips of writing persuasive paragraph.
Affective: Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of writing persuasive paragraph by
writing a persuasive paragraph.
Psychomotor: Students will be able to identify important aspects of a persuasive paragraph.
3. Materials: (books, projector, pad paper)
4. Intro/Anticipatory Set: (Review, and let students answer they had learnt last week)
5. Procedure:
Warm up question about what they had learnt last week
Ask what does persuasive mean
Explain about persuasive paragraph
Explain tips of writing persuasive paragraph
Ask students to read the example of a persuasive paragraph
Then Ask about what are introduction, body and closure paragraph
Ask are you agree or disagree with these example and why
Choose one or two students to answer
Let students write about “Students should keep the phone during the class time”
Explain the instruction for their writing
