Expository Paragraph
Students will be able to understand and differentiate parts of paragraph and apply important
aspects of an Expository paragraph.
2. Learning Objectives:
Cognitive: Students will be able to explain what is an Expository paragraph and understand how to
write their favorite game by using tips of writing Expository paragraph.
Affective: Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Expository writing by writing their
favorite game.
Psychomotor: Students will be able to identify important aspects of a Expository paragraph.
3. Materials: (books, projector, pad paper)
4. Intro/Anticipatory Set: (Review, and let students answer they had learnt last week)
5. Procedure:
Warm up question about what they had learnt last week
Ask what does expository mean
Explain about expository paragraph
Explain tips of writing expository paragraph
Explain how they can use cluster choose their topic
Ask students to read the example of an expository paragraph
Then Ask about what are introduction, body and closure paragraph
Let students write their favorite game
Give the instructions for “What game is it?”
Close the class by summarizing the lesson
