I am Abhijeet here to inform you about the MBA program provided by MACFAST college.

Alright, ma'am.

MACFAST is affiliated to MG University and approved by AICTE, Delhi. Mainly, we offer MBA
programs along with MCA and MSC in different specialties.

To join the program, there is certain a eligibility criteria to be followed.

1. Pass with not less than 55% in any Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree
2. Valid CMAT/KMAT/CAT score
3. Private Interview and Group Discussion

MBA is a two-year course with only 120 seats available. First year will be a common course and the
second year will have specialization with compulsory internship program. Specialization is offered in
various fields like Finance, Marketing, HR. In total, there will be 4 semesters with 28 subjects.

Scholarship schemes are also available to students based on their UG Course Marks:

1. Special scholarships for rank holders: Top 3 rank holders with 50% Fee concession.
2. Students securing more than 90% marks in University Exams: 10% concession on Tuition fees
3. Students securing marks in range 80-90% in University exams: 5% concession on Tuition fees

Based on excellence in the academics during MBA program

Top three MBA students who secure more than 75% of marks in the university examinations will get
following cash scholarship in each semester

1. First Position: 20% semester fees


2. Second Position: 14% semester fees
3. Third Position: 7% semester fees

Their fee structure is as follows:

Rs 85000 per semester and there is a MII & Additional skill development of Rs 48000

Now you may ask what MII is?

Its MACFAST INDUSTRY INTERFACE where we will have interaction with business leaders and there
will be industry visits.

Total amounting to Rs 388000 without hostel expenditure.

If opting for hostel, Rs 6500 is the admission fee and Rs 4800 payable per month. So, the total hostel
fee amounting for 2 years is Rs 121700 and the total fee structure with hostel expenditure being Rs
509700.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions, colleges have been closed down and students are asked to
present themselves for online classes from 8:30am to 4:30pm via Zoom platform. Once the
restrictions are lifted and colleges reopen, classes will begin in the same time schedule mentioned
before.
Going forward with their marking scheme during examinations. Students will have 2 Viva voce and
rest will be theoretical papers consisting of 100 marks (40 marks continual evaluation and 60 marks
comprehensive evaluation). The 1st & 2nd semester will constitute 800 & 900 marks and 3rd & 4th with
900 & 700 marks respectively, totalling to 3300 marks.

group, ICICI prudential life insurance etc.

Classrooms

The buildings of MACFAST are architecturally designed to make the classrooms naturally airy and
comfortable for the academic activities. All classrooms are equipped with modern furniture, LCD
projectors, Audio-equipment and IT enabled teaching aids for the effective implementation and
delivery of the curriculum. The seats designed are comfortable for long hours of learning. Separate
class rooms, tutorial rooms and seminar halls are earmarked for MBA and MCA programmes in the
main campus and M. Sc. Bioscience programmes in the Bio campus.

Library

MACFAST has a fully equipped library with a collection of 32,500 books and 130 journals that cater
to the needs of students, researchers and staff community. The library is stocked with books,
national-international magazines, journals, e-journals, periodicals, research papers, online
databases, and CDs. The library is open on all weekdays from 8.00am to 9.30pm.

Auditorium

The college has a well-furnished air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of four hundred.
The Centre has large air-conditioned Conference Halls which are used for trainings, classes and
formal meetings. The faculty meetings are conducted at the fully furnished Board Rooms.

Group learning centers

Group Learning Centers facilitate team work and group activity. They are used for group
presentations and training. A conference hall with a seating capacity of 120 is provided in the
campus which is used for arranging various programmes for developing skills in communication and
public speaking , practicing yoga and for organizing classes related to health, hygiene etc.

Hostels
The students of MACFAST are provided with well-appointed hostel rooms in the campus. Separate
hostel facilities are available for the boys and girls. The hostels have 24X7 internet connectivity,
student mess facilities, study halls, television and telephone facilities. Both the hostels are managed
and run by Rev. Fathers and Sisters.

Health Club & Sports Facilities

Extracurricular activities play a major role in the holistic development of students. The Health Club
and Sport Facilities of MACFAST promote students to take up their study in a healthy manner. As
part of extracurricular development of the students, the college maintains Basketball Court, Shuttle
Badminton Court, Volley Ball Court and Table Tennis Court.

Canteen

The college has a well-maintained canteen run by specialist restaurateurs who cater good quality
and variety of dishes at reasonable rates to students, staff and visitors inside the campus. Both
vegetarian and non-vegetarian breakfast and meals are served. The canteen is well equipped with a
snack bar, coffee vending machine, telephone and television facilities.

Language Lab

The facility of language laboratory is provided to the students to gain competency in communicative
English. It encourages students to acquire proficiency in communicative English and foreign
languages. The faculty and students engaged in Research are encouraged to make use of the lab to
learn foreign languages also. The Laboratory is equipped with workbook, software, and audio-video
CDs.

Chapel

Prayer and worship are important in the life of all people of faith. The chapel ensures the spiritual
growth of the inmates with Holy Mass and prayer. The chapel "provides a place for people to be in
fellowship and share a sense of community" .The chapel program encourages students to intertwine
their spiritual growth with their academic, intellectual, and emotional growth. Holy Mass is
celebrated on Wednesday.

Counseling Division

The main objective of the counseling division of MACFAST is to bring about a voluntary change in the
mindset of the students. The counselor identifies and evaluates the personal, professional and social
development of the students including those with special needs. Special attention is given to drop
out and students who fail.

Grievance Cell
The Grievance Cell actively interacts with students and helps them to sort out their grievances. The
cell attends both registered and unregistered grievances of the students. The students can either
drop their grievances in the suggestion box or report it to the faculty member who is in charge of the
class or directly to the Principal. They can raise their grievances in the meeting of the Students
Council as well. The practice is to settle the grievances as and when it is reported.
