Python Developer

sMedia is looking for a talented and experienced Python Developer to join our worldwide team of
developers. This role will focus on the successful translation of business requirements in system design
on client engagements and is experienced in data architecture and fast paced software development. We
are looking for self-starters who will hit the ground running from day one.

Responsibilities:

● Creating and developing new features, capabilities and functions for existing software.
● Providing value in an ongoing extension and optimization process. Evaluate all codes and ensure
the quality of all project deliverables
● Monitoring software performance and participating in code refactoring to improve maintainability.
● Gather requirements, document and design various functional specifications for feature
development. Produce estimates for analysis, design, development, and testing.
● Constantly making sure we meet high quality standards

Skills & Qualifications

● Knowledge data structures and data modeling.

● Proficient developing python applications using pandas, numpy, scikit, matplotlib etc.
● Proficient in SQL
● Solid understanding of Agile project management
● Experience working in cloud-based environments
● Experience in data analytics and data mining is an added advantage
● Passionate about making things better
