Is teaching more of a vocation or more of a profession?

Teaching is both a vocation and a profession that’s why for me it is more than a

noble profession. We will become a professional teacher if we undergo a bachelor’s

public school teacher. At first, for me I was motivated by my teacher when I was

elementary to be like her. As I go and study to be a teacher, it was not that easy.

After that When I was a student teacher, I realized how to be a real teacher. We

must have the attitude and qualities that can adopt in the environment where we

have.

Learners have different diversity, we as teacher also have, and we must adjust to

that behaviour of our learner. If we go deeper to the life and situation of our

learner, we learn how to love them more, and in that time we learn also to accept

who they are. It is the big challenge for us to be part of the life of that learner. We

also hurt if our learner is in not that good situation, we also cry if they are in a

difficult situation. Yes. We are a part of our student’s life, as our learners also

become a part of our life. In that case, it is very clear that we are called to change

the lives of that learner and that is a vocation.
