ACTIVITY DESIGN FOR MANICURE/PEDICURE- FOR-CAUSE


I. RATIONALE
The Department of Education (DepEd) will conduct the 2019 Brigada Eskwela from May 20
to 25, 2019 with the theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan.”
The Brigada Eskwela is the National Schools Maintenance Week, that aims to brings
together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort, and resources
to prepare public school facilities for the opening of the school year in June .
The Lun Padidu National High School (LPNHS) as a way of enhancing their skills of students
and teachers alike.

II. OBJECTIVES
The production of newsletter and school paper aims to:
1. develop the journalistic skills of the students and teachers;
2. prepare them for higher competitions;
3. enlighten them of the intricacies of writing essentials in mass media; and
4. open more windows of discovery and learning in the various facets of journalism

III. METHODOLOGY
1. Planning
2. Field Work – gathering of articles
3. Writing of Articles
4. Editing, Revising, Polishing
5. Sending raw materials to printing press for layout
6. Proofreading
7. Production
8. Distribution of copies to students, faculty, and stakeholders

V. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS
1. School Paper (1000 copies)
Php35.00 x 1000 copies = 35,000
2. Press Work
Transportation (Sit-in job at the printing press) = 800
Food (Php40.00 x 27 students x 5 days) = 5,400
3. Honorarium (Layout Artist) = 2,000
TOTAL = Php43,200
