ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

NAME OF ACTIVITY: 3RD Quarter Portfolio Day, Recognition Day and Card Day

DATE: January 26, 2019

VENUE: San Francisco Elementary School Campus

PARTICIPANTS: PARENTS, TEACHERS, PUPILS, STAKEHOLDER

DESCRIPTION:
Portfolio Day is Considered a Culminating Resources
Activities/Performance wherein at the end of every quarter, schools are
encouraged to put up exhibits of pupil products across subjects or learning
areas. Learners may also do an exhibition of their performances in
different subjects as evidences of their learning or attainment of
performance standards. Thus when parents receive the report card and
confer with teachers they will actually be witnessing what pupils are
learning in school.
This is an opportunity to showcase what the pupils learned within a
quarter. The learners’ quality products can likewise be sold to
stakeholders at reasonable price so that learners will appreciate the value
of their works, they will be earning while learning (sales will be accepted
directly by the pupil product owner), thus they can gradually internalize
entrepreneurship skills as we are preparing them for Entrepreneurship as
one of the Exits of K to 12 Program.

OBJECTIVES: To showcase pupils output across subject areas evidence of their


learning or attainment of performance standards, giving/awarding of
certificates to deserving pupils and preparing them for Entrepreneurship.
LIST OF ISSUES AND CONCERN: Parents negative attitude in attending Portfolio Day
because of time conflict.

PARTICIPANTS FEEDBACK: Parents were happy upon seeing the Portfolio’s and
projects of their children, they find Portfolio Day meaningful in the sense
that they can confer with the teachers and follow up their children.

DESIGN OF THE EVENT: The event was done in the school stage to encourage pupils
to work hard more so that they can also receive certificate of
recognition, in front of many people.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION: Well participate and applauded.

LOGISTICAL ARRANGEMENT: Participants of the activity were all accommodated and


seated. It is a well-organized which lead to the success of the
activity.
