ACR DURING PORTFOLIO DAY

PORTFOLIO DAY is considered a Culminating Resources/Activities/Performances wherein at the end of

every quarter, schools are encouraged to put up exhibits of student/pupil products across subjects or learning areas.
Learners may also do an exhibition of their performances standards. Thus when parents receive the report card and
confer with the teachers they will actually be witnessing what students are learning in school.

The learners’ quality products can likewise be sold to stakeholders at reasonable price so that learners will
appreciate the value of their works, they will be earning while learning (sales will be accepted directly by the
student/pupil product-owner), thus they can gradually internalize entrepreneurship skills as were preparing them
for Entrepreneurship as of the exist of K to 12 Program.

The said culmination was held at the school level and it was started at exactly 9 o’clock in the morning with

the help of the stakeholders and parents in preparing the said activity. The program starts with a prayer which was

conducted by the pupils, to be followed by the singing of the Philippine national anthem conducted by Ms. Angie P.

Avila. A welcome message was rendered by the GPTA President Mrs. Cheryl Abueva followed by giving certificates

to the achievers who made their best work in the 1st quarter. The certificates were given by the Committee on

Education Mrs. Anieta Dianopra and the GPTA president Mrs. Cheryl Abueva

The second part of the program followed as the parents proceeded to their respective rooms for the PTA

meeting. It is indeed very crucial to have a parent-teacher adviser conference since it’s the best way to have feed

backing of pupils’ performance. It’s the best time to give pupils’ strengths and weaknesses for pupil’s improvement.

Afterwards, everyone had a chance to have a glimpse at pupils’ output through a gallery.
