I. Rationale

In consonance with the annual implementation of school’s


Maintenance Week dubbed as Brigada Eskwela, Rajah Muda
National High School designed an activity which aimed at
providing the community information regarding the school’s
preparation for the school year 2019-2020 through collaboration
with potential stakeholders.
To highlight the activity prior to the commencement of a week-
long activity, the school initiated an activity through recorida
wherein all of the programs and activities were publicly
announced in all puroks and in the neighboring barangays with
leaflets and flyers reflecting all information needed before and
during the start of the school year.

II. Objectives

1. To disseminate information to the community


2. To encourage/motivate potential stakeholders to take
part in the school’s programs and activities

III. Strategies

To achieve the goals and specific targets of the school,


the school will forge linkages with potential partners to
support the activity designed for the school children.

Activity Title : ‘FUN RUN’

I. Rationale

The first day of Brigada Eskwela Week is usually the busiest day
of the week because the scope of work is usually in lump and the
volunteers are in volume. However, the school designed an
activity which is scheduled early in the morning in order to set the
tone of the day’s work.
To capture the participation of the stakeholders, a FUN RUN
was designed which aimed at gathering potential partners prior
to the beginning of actual services in preparation for the opening
of classes for S.Y 2019-2020.

II. Objectives

1. To gather potential partners and render services during


the week-long activity
2. To generate funds for the provision of school supplies to
learners.

III. Strategies

To personify and realize the goal of the activity, potential


partners specifically the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Rajah Muda will be tapped to help facilitate the
flow of the activity.

I. Rationale

Brigada Eskwela is not just about work accomplishments. It is


also about solidifying camaraderie and companionship between
and among teachers, community and stakeholders. One way of
achieving such a target is to initiate and make innovations.
To highlight such an innovation, a massive campaign for the
involvement and participation of the stakeholders is a need
through collaboration and engagement of all concerned. This
can be personified through a ZUMBA where everyone is expected
to participate which will consequently stabilize working
relationships between and among members of the school and
the community.

II. Objectives

1. To strengthen partnership with stakeholders


2. To promote healthy working relationship with partners

III. Strategies

To realize the target, advocacy will be strengthened


through social media and personal invitations especially the
parents and other members of the community.

Activity Title : ‘Holy Mass”

I. Rationale

In everything that we do, God should always be made the


center of it because we all know that without Him, all that we
have is nothing and has no meaning.

Brigada Eskwela is annually conducted in all public elementary


and secondary schools all over the country and its main purpose
is to prepare the schools for the opening of classes.

To put everything in place and in order, the school initiated


some activities that fall under creativity and innovations which are
participated by the stakeholders and community leaders and
members. One of which above all is the Holy Mass where, again,
stakeholders and teachers actively participated showing oneness.

II. Objectives

1. To honor God as the reason of everything


2. To promote spirituality in the community

III. Strategies

To realize the target, the focal person will be the one to


facilitate the needed things for the celebration of the Holy
Eucharist together with the community leaders, members
and stakeholders.

Activity Title : ‘Library On Wheels”

I. Rationale

Reading is one of the many concerns of Rajah Muda National


High School because it was found out that even High Schools are
facing problems on reading specifically on non-readers and slow
readers.

Brigada Eskwela as an annual activity for all public elementary


and secondary schools is one in helping the learners cope with
educational demands through physical improvements,
generating resources, creating and innovating programs, projects
and activities and others.

As a manifestation of support to such a program, Rajah Muda


National High School initiates Library On Wheels to cater learners
who are in need of Reading Interventions.

II. Objectives

1. To promote reading as school’s one of the topmost


priorities
2. To give learners especially struggling readers an
avenue in improving their reading abilities

III. Strategies

To make the learners’ experiences meaningful and


enjoyable, the focal person or the program holder takes
care of forging linkages with potential partners in realizing
the goal of the program/project.

Activity Title : ‘OPERATION TULI”

I. Rationale

Oplan Kalusugan or OK sa Deped Program has already been


institutionalized in all public schools which helps promotes each
one’s health through functional health and nutrition programs in
schools.

Such program brings opportunities for every individual


especially the members of the school community to check their
health status and come up with measures in order to monitor and
keep an eye on their health and wellness.

To support the DepEd’s program, Rajah Muda National High


School initiates and conducts Medical Mission through OPERATION
TULI inviting the medical team/personnel from the Provincial
Mobile Hospital. Residents of the Barangay including the learners
of the school are identified as recipients with free medicines.

II. Objectives

1. To promote health and wellness among members of


the school and community especially those at young
age
2. To value learner’s health by encouraging them to
subject themselves for circumcision

III. Strategies
To facilitate the conduct of Operation Tuli, a program
design was crafted by the program committee and booked
a schedule with the in-charge of the medical team from the
Provincial Capitol. Information as to the schedule was
disseminated and attendance sheets were made available
for documentation purposes.
