GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY


Based on DepEd Order 32 s. The 2020 Brigada
Eskwela Program Implementing Guidelines the
National Kick Off supposedly is on May 14, 2020 in
Region VI and the weeklong activity was supposed to
start from May 18-23, 2020.
In lieu of the unprecedented outbreak of COVID 19,
which resulted in the implementation of various forms
of community quarantine, has, however, greatly

calendar and the Brigada Eskwela campaign. DepEd
has been supporting the overall effort of the Philippine
government to address this public health crisis. In light
of this current situation every division with the
partnership focal person ensures that learning is
continued while being responsive to the global
pandemic. Partnership activities/collaboration shall be
undertaken to implement the learning continuity plan.
II. OBJECTIVES
This program aims to achieve the following:
1. Conduct the Brigada Eskwela activities in line
with the current situation under new normal.

2. Gain support from stakeholders for the school


and learners:
 Health and Sanitation
 Learning and Interactions
 Facilities

3. Ensure the participation of all schools during


online Brigada Eskwela Kick Off.

the organizing committee in the conduct of the training.

2020 DIVISION BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK -OFF and


BRIGADA IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES

1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 032, s. 2020 titled Brigada Eskwela Program
Implementation Guidelines for Technical Reference of the Program and RM-No.-290 s.
2020 entitled GENERAL GUIDELINES ON THE JOINT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
2020 BRIGADA ESKWELA AND OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA, the Division of General
Trias City through the Social Mobilization and Networking Unit will be conducting
the virtual 2020 DIVISION BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF on June 15, 2020 via
Google Meet with a theme “Pagpapanatili ng Bayanihan Tungo sa Kalidad na
Edukasyon para sa Kabataan” while the slogan for this year’s joint conduct of BE
and OBE shall be “Bayanihan sa Paaralan” conduct activities in line with the current
situation under new normal and gain support from stakeholders for school and
learners health and sanitation, learning and interactions and facilities.

2. The new concept of 2020 Division Eskwela Kick-Off under the new normal shall
focus on preparations and strengthening partnership engagement to ensure that
learning continues while being responsive to the global pandemic, the activities will
highlight partnership initiatives that complement the Department’s efforts to ensure
that quality basic education will continue despite the challenges in adapting to the
COVID-19 situation, and to implement the Learning Continuity Plan (LCP).
