This text is for question numbers 1-4!

Pregnancy is something that can make a mother feels happy. Keeping the baby in the
womb to grow healthy and born alive is to be performed by a pregnant woman. The gestation
period will determine the child's growth. Here we provide some tips on healthy during
pregnancy.
The first, visit a physician regularly. During pregnancy, mothers can visit a physician/doctor
regularly. Regularly check the baby in the womb is useful to know the condition and growth of
the fetus. Likewise, if there is anything wrong in pregnancy should be immediately checked by a
physician. Do this until the last month of pregnancy.
The second, important eat nutritious foods. Begin to eat nutritious foods; it is important for
pregnant women and fetal growth. Maternal diet usually eats small meals but often, about 5-6
times per day. It's better than eating large servings in 3 per day, a diet with smaller portions
and more often to reduce nausea and vomiting in the morning, and stomach pain.
The third, folic acid and zinc. Healthy foods for pregnant mothers are foods that contain
folic acid and zinc. Folic acid is useful for preventing neural tube defects in infants and spine.
Foods that contain folic acid present in cereals, brown rice, oranges, green vegetables, beans,
broccoli, and more. Zinc is useful to prevent anemia during pregnancy. Anemia is very
dangerous for pregnant women, can cause bleeding during childbirth.
The fourth, avoid cigarette smoke. Cigarette and tobacco smoke are very harmful to the
health of mother and fetus. Avoid cigarette smoke; try not to become passive smokers. If your
husband is a smoker, warn not to smoke near you. And if you're also a smoker, stop smoking
better. Cigarette smoke will make your baby born weighing less, easily hurt, slow growth; it can
even cause miscarriage and death in the womb.
The fifth, drinking adequate water. Drinking adequate water is another important thing to
note for pregnant women. Drinking lots of water is very useful for pregnant women, because
the incoming fluid will help to increase the blood volume that occurs during pregnancy. Drink at
least 6-8 glasses a day, can be fruit juice, milk, or water.
The sixth, taking medications safely. Be careful when taking some drugs. If you are
attacked by a disease or pain, be careful taking drugs. You should immediately consult your
physician before taking it. If you are pregnant and taking medication without rules would be
harmful to the fetus in the womb.
The seventh, remain active during pregnancy. Pregnant women should remain active.
Pregnant women can also do exercise such as walking. Taking a pregnancy exercise classes are
also good, in addition to the benefits to the mother and fetus, the pregnant women in the class
are able to share experiences and gain knowledge. In between activities, do not forget to rest.
The eighth, vaccination during pregnency. Another important thing is vaccinated during
pregnancy. Pregnant women should talk to their physicians to figure out which vaccines they
might need and whether they should get them during pregnancy or wait until after their child is
born. Hepatitis B, Influenza and Tetanus/Diphtheria are considered safe to give to women who
might be at risk of infection.

Motion sickness afflicts more than two-thirds of all astronauts upon reaching orbit, even
veteran test pilots who have never been airsick. Though everyone recovers after a few days in
space, body systems continue to change. Deprived of gravity information, a confused brain
engenders visual illusions. Body fluids surge to chest and head. The heart enlarges slightly, as
do other organs. Sensing too much fluid, the body begins to excrete it, including calcium,
electrolytes and blood plasma. The production of red blood cells decreases, rendering
astronauts slightly anemic. With the loss of fluid, legs shrink. Spinal discs expand, and so does
the astronaut- who may gain five centimeters and suffer backache. Though the process may
sound terrible, astronauts adjust to it, come to enjoy it and seem no worse to wear- at least for
short missions such as space shuttle flights that last a week or two.
During longer flights, however, physiology enters an unknown realm. As director of
Russian’s Institute for Biomedical Problems from 1968 to 1988. Oleg Gazenko watched
cosmonauts return from long flights unable to stand without fainting, needing to be carried
from the spacecraft. “ We are creatures of Earth,” Gazenko told me. “These changes are the
price of a ticket to space.”
Americans, returning from months-long flights on Mir, the Russian space station, also paid
the space, suffering losses in weight, muscle mass and bone density. NASA geared up to see
how- even if- humans would survive the most demanding of space ventures, a mission to Mars,

which could last up to three years. “We don’t even know if a broken bone will heal in space,”
said Daniel Gordin, NASA’s administrator. To get answer, in1997 Gordin established the Nation
Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI), a consortium of experts from a dozen leading
universities and research institute. NSBRI will study biomedical problems and by 2010 will
present NASA with a “go” or “no go” recommendation on a Mars mission.
Jeffrey Sutton, leader of the medical systems team at the NSBRI, has treated the head
trauma, wounds, kidney stones and heart rhythm irregularities that one could encounter on the
way to Mars. On the spacecraft he envisions. Mars- bound in the year, say 2018, there may lurk
harmful bacteria on carbon monoxide. No problem. The deadly substances will be detected by
smart sensors- microprocessors no bigger than a thumbnail- that roam autonomously through
the spacecraft, communicating their finds to a computer that warns the crew.
To cope with infection, Sutton plans a factory to make drug, even new ones, to cope with
possible organisms on Mars. Miniature optical and ultrasound devices will image body and brain.
While a small x-ray machine keeps tracks of any bone loss. Smart sensors embedded in clothing
will monitor an astronaut’s vital functions. The crew will be able to craft body parts, Sutton
says, precisely tooled to an astronaut’s personal anatomy and genome stored in computer
memory. Researchers are building artificial liver, bone and cartilage tissue right now.
