DIRECTIONS: Assess your mother or father’s skin, hair and nails and fill up the table with the normal findings and
your actual findings. Encode your activity using Arial Narrow font size 11 in a short bond paper using the template

A. NAILS
1. Keep nails clean and dry.
2. Moisturize nails
3. Keep nails shaped and free of snags by filing with an emery board.
4. Do not bite fingernails or remove the cuticle.
5. Have a manicure and pedicure regularly
6. Avoid “digging out” ingrown toenails, especially if they are infected and sore. 
7. Wear shoes that fit properly. 

B. SKIN
1. Drink plenty of water, and use gentle moisturizers, lotions, or creams
2. Avoid intense sun exposure, use sunscreen, and wear protective clothing.
3. Don’t use tanning beds or sunlamps. They emit the same harmful UV radiation as the sun.
4. Bathe in warm water; use mild cleansers that don’t irritate.
5. Reduce stress. Stress can harm your skin and other body systems.
6. Get enough sleep. 
7. Talk to your doctor if you notice any odd changes to your skin, like a rash or mole that changes size or
color.

3. Eat a balanced diet
4. Don't Towel Dry.
5. Trim Your Hair Often.
6. Shampoo the Right Way.
