The CDC recently stated that vaccinated individuals are allowed to be in public
spaces (both indoors and outdoors) without facial coverings. As stated in our
revised COVID-19 safety requirements and procedures that are in effect as
of May 1, 2021 states that facial coverings are no longer a requirement
in-office. To sweeten the deal for vaccinated individuals, we’re offering ALL
families THREE FREE MONTHS OF EIPfta ADVANCED for each member of
their family with proof of vaccination. Families that have already paid who may
now be eligible for this deal will be refunded upon request (must be 21 days
from 05/14/2021). Families receiving vaccination after this announcement must
inform us (with proof) of vaccination within 21 days after the final dose. June 1
is the final day to get vaccinated and be eligible for this deal and June 22 is
the final day to submit your request.

*NEW* STAFF ONLY: We’re introducing VESE for all team members. Team
members may or may not be offered VESE (or Voluntary Early Shift End) during
their shifts beginning May 14, 2021. Team members who accept VESE (spots
will be limited and announcements will be sent via the portal, not verbally) will
be required to clock out, almost immediately and the remainder of their shift
will be unpaid. They are also required to report to their next shift at the
assigned time.

*NEW* Families and visitors are now allowed to save their spot in the office.
This is not required but we do recommend taking advantage of this new
feature for various reasons including to prevent false trips (we’re at capacity
when you arrive), you have something important that needs done and us
reaching capacity may interfere with that, or you’re only available on a certain
day. More information and schedule at eipedu.setmore.com. Visitors are
allowed to schedule for June 24 now.

We’re hiring URGENTLY, we’re looking for a “Health Ambassador (Summer


2021)” to screen and capture and log temperatures of team members, families,
and visitors. Read what you need to bring to the table at eipedu.net/work.

Introducing a new pay-scale, we’re introducing a new, updated pay scale for
all team members that takes effect on May 1, 2021. The updated pay scale can
be viewed for public and internal use at eipedu.net/tutornews.

Summer Pay, it’s a thing! All FT-Perm team members will receive “Summer
Pay” weekly for dates falling on or in between May 7 and August 27. You’ll be
paid at your base pay rate for 32.5 hours. The new pay-scale will be used but
if you move up on the scale during the Summer Pay period you won’t receive
any raised pay until September 3. Retro pay will not be paid. Only team
members rehired for 2021-2022 are eligible for Summer Pay.

More hours! We’re now open on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
This change is permanent.

After April 15 visitors are no longer allowed in the office. We’re closed to
everyone other than current families and former families (who’s eligible for
testing, contact your former tutor for eligibility) while we complete our testing
and end-of-year celebrations. We’ll reopen May 3 on Summer Schedule
(/summer) for current and enrolling families. Visitors are welcome to visit on
and after June 24, 2021.

There’s 109 days until August 30, the first day of the 2021-2022 academic
year.
