The CDC recently stated that vaccinated individuals are allowed to be in public
spaces (both indoors and outdoors) without facial coverings. As stated in our
revised COVID-19 safety requirements and procedures that are in effect as
of May 1, 2021 states that facial coverings are no longer a requirement
in-office. To sweeten the deal for vaccinated individuals, we’re offering ALL
families THREE FREE MONTHS OF EIPfta ADVANCED for each member of
their family with proof of vaccination. Families that have already paid who may
now be eligible for this deal will be refunded upon request (vaccination must
be reported within 21 days of 05/14/2021). Families receiving vaccination after
this announcement must inform us (with proof) of vaccination within 21 days
after the final dose. June 1 is the final day to get vaccinated and be eligible for
this deal and June 22 is the final day to submit your request.

*NEW* Today in our “Annual Meeting for Community Members” we discussed
the future of EIPedu. New services plans and tiers were suggested. We’re
opening 20 more jobs next academic year and we’re bringing back an
old-time EIP-er. Also announced was Markell’s resignation. Markell’s complete
resignation letter can be viewed on Twitter and Facebook.

STAFF ONLY: Staff Training begins June 1. Please see the schedule for your
assigned days, times, and room (remote team, of course, won’t report to a
room). Recently announced VESE will not be offered for the first two weeks
and last three weeks of training. You’ll be compensated $7.25/hr on top of
your Summer Pay benefit (new hires will be paid $14.50+$7.25 for each hour
they’re in training)

Summer Pay, it’s a thing! All FT-Perm team members will receive “Summer
Pay” weekly for dates falling on or in between May 7 and August 27. You’ll be
paid at your base pay rate for 32.5 hours. The new pay-scale will be used but
if you move up on the scale during the Summer Pay period you won’t receive
any raised pay until September 3. Retro pay will not be paid. Only team
members rehired for 2021-2022 are eligible for Summer Pay.

Beginning June 24, Visitors are welcome back into the office.

There’s 88 days until August 30, the first day of the 2021-2022 academic year.
