Greetings, a few announcements,

1. The upcoming July physical residential will start on 17th July 2023 to 28th July 2023. This
residential will be physical because most of the students did not do the continuous assessments in
the previous residential.
2. On the other fees that students are charged, these fees will be paid back to students before the
end of this academic year. The fees to be paid back are accommodation and transport. This,
however, is not applicable to all programs.
3. Medical services will be provided to all the ODL students free of charge provided you get a
medical form from the secretariat and an id during residential. These forms will be provided
during residential period.
4. The waiver that we applied to the registrar has been granted. All ODL students, therefore, must
meet a 50% threshold by July month end.
5. Accommodation during the upcoming residential will be provided to the students just as it was
in the previous residential.
6. All students who did not manage to get ids last residential to ensure that they do that in the next
residential.
7. As a union, we are pushing the school management that as ODL students, we also get involved in
programs like field trips and sports facilities.
