Once the university receives and verify the above mentioned documents, your provisional admission will be processed
An admission “Acceptance Letter” will be issued which can be downloaded from the admission application portal under 4th STEP:
DOWNLOAD ACCEPTANCE LETTER.
Acceptance Letter can be used to apply for "Student Visa" in the nearest Indian Embassy/Consulate in your home country.
Please ensure that you apply for visa on time as the process may take up to 6 weeks or more.
Please note that Issuing of Acceptance Letter does not guarantee admission and/or scholarship. It will only be confirmed on verification
of original certificates/transcripts of qualifying examination, valid Passport at the time of reporting at the university.

Reporting Schedule
You should report at the university as per your reporting schedule available on the university’s website www.lpu.in/international/reporting‐
schedule‐pickup‐services.php. In case you come earlier or too late at the university than the prescribed reporting schedule, you might not be
allowed to join the university and may be asked to go back to the home country. It is solely student’s responsibility to complete all required
formalities and documentation in time (like applying for the visa, fees, tickets booking etc.) and join the university as per the induction
schedule. It is mandatory to maintain minimum 75% attendance in each course to sit in the End Term Examination. There will be no relaxation
in attendance or evaluation process for late reported students due to any reason whatsoever. University may also cancel your admission in
case you report at the university beyond the prescribed time.

English Language Requirements


The language of instructions in the university is English and it is recommended that all international students applying for admission in the
regular programme should be proficient in the English Language (strong reading, writing, speaking and understanding of English Language).
University will not be responsible for any problem faced by the student in class due to lack of proficiency in the English Language. In case the
University apprises that the student is not proficient in English, the student might be asked to join English Language Program concurrently
with the regular program. The University can also change his enrolled program and put in any other program deemed appropriate for the
student by the University or may cancel his/her admission in the regular programme. In all such cases, there will be no relaxation in the exam
or any other component of the evaluation of the university. In case an international student wants to cancel his/her admission from regular
programme due to lack of understanding of English Language, the refund will be processed as per the refund policy for international students.

Health Insurance
Health insurance is an additional facility provided by the university to its international students in getting the limited financial support (up to
INR 200,000) in case of any medical emergency (subject to Health Insurance Claim Policy). The processing of insurance policy generally takes 30
days after reporting of the student at the campus. Student shall be responsible for his/her medical expenses during these 30 days of non‐
insured time. Student may bring the health insurance policy at their own for the cover of non‐insured time or in case they want the higher
coverage. Once the insurance policy is processed, the Insurance card will be uploaded in the UMS and it will be student’s responsibility to
provide the required documents to insurance company and to claim as well. University will not be liable for any kind of medical claim
whatsoever in this regard.
Refund Policy
Refund or de‐allocation of any facilities would be made as per the refund policy for international students for the respective batch only.
Application Form (for refund of Programme Fee/Hostel charges/Meal plan charges/Laundry charges/Transport/Parking charges, etc.), duly filled
in and signed by the applicant, and received by the last date of refunds prescribed by the university for International students will only be
accepted. Refund applications received after last date or without proper information / format, or request for refund as a plain email, will not
be considered for refunds.

I am applying without submitting my results as it is not declared yet. I know the admission eligibility requirement criteria in the applied
programme and I will submit my results documents/ transcripts/ degree by 31 July 2023. In case I fail to submit the final results
documents/ transcripts/ certificate to the university in original within time, or my qualifications do not comply with eligibility criteria,
my admission shall stand cancelled. Further, fee and other charges, including amount paid for provisional registration, shall stand

Important guidelines
1. Submission of application form, fee, any other document; acknowledgement, thereof, by the university, or, Issuing of ID card, Offer
Letter, Acceptance Letter, registration number etc do not guarantee admission to any programme of the university.
2. After reporting (joining) at the university, it is mandatory for the student to get the original certificates verified from the concerned
department of the university. The admission and scholarship will be confirmed after verification of the original certificates of qualifying
examination. Failing to submit the required documents on time may lead to cancellation of admission and scholarship. In such cases,
students will not be eligible for any kind of refund.
3. Applicants awaiting their final results or yet to appear for the qualifying exam must furnish the result of the qualifying exam to the
university, either before starting journey from Home Country, or on joining the university, or before the last date of provisional
registration, whichever is later. The university may not allow a student to join the Programme if he/she fails to provide such certificates
by the stipulated time.
4. You should report as per your reporting schedule, University may strike off the name of the late reported student from its rolls, and
cancel his/her admission, residential facility and other facilities, without providing any notice or clarification. Student will not be
eligible for any refund in such cases.
5. If it deems necessary for the larger interest, the university can cancel the admission and ask a student to leave the country. In such
cases, fee deposited shall stand forfeited and also no claim for the expenses made for travelling, visa or any other expense made by the
student will be entertained. The university shall not be liable in any way.
6. The applicant will be personally and solely liable to fulfill the requisite formalities and get permission from concerned authorities of the
government and other concerned authorities for entry, study and stay in India. The university does not /will not assume any liability in
this regard.
7. You should clear the complete Programme Fee (first semester), residential charges and any other fee and charges as prescribed in the
university booklet 2023 or otherwise prescribed by university before joining the university. Fee for the successive semester/ Academic
year has to be cleared before the end of teaching of preceding semester/ Academic year as per schedule announced by the university.

10. Student should retain the fee transfer proof; it is the responsibility of the student/applicant to ensure to update the confirmation of
Fee transfer in the online application portal while applying & subsequently to Division of Finance of the university, once joined.
11. Subsequent Fee Payment to the University for Programme/Accommodation/Food/Laundry or any other fee prescribed by the university
from time to time can only be paid in USD (except for students from Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka).
12. All the additional charges related to available residential facility including electricity charges, maintenance charges, damage/breakage
charges as if prescribed will have to be borne by the student and needs to be cleared before vacating the residential facility, unless
otherwise prescribed by the university.
Students strictly prohibited to promote or engage in or participate in any kind of social, ritual, religious, political or such like
other activities in and outside the precincts of the University, unless specifically permitted in writing by the University.
Students during the duration of the programme in the University or afterwards are not allowed to indulge in or invite or pursue
orpropagate or publish in person/ print/ electronic/ internet media any sort of activities and/or controversies of anti‐social,
political, semi‐political, religious, communal, show of allegiance and such like nature within or outside the precincts of the
University.
Students are strictly prohibited from conducting any religious indoctrination and observances including prayer at any place in the
university. However a student might worship or pursue the prayer alone, silently in room allotted to him/ her for residential
facilities, if any, in such a way that his/ her activity does not disturb or distract the other occupants of the same room or
neighbouring rooms. Loud chants and usage of cyndals, trumpets, bells/ chimes or other musical/ sound producing instruments
are prohibited to avoid disturbance/ noise pollution. Usage of Dhoopbatti / Agarbatti/ such incense sticks or any burning material
are prohibited even in the room allotted for residential facility due to safety reasons.

13. Scholarship (if any) will be applicable only on per semester Programme Fee for the normal duration of the programme, and will not cover
any other charges like reappear or backlog in any course, or even if a student sits for examination to get the pass grades or to improve
the grades.
14. International students who are considering pursuing an education at our university should be aware that the degree equivalency of our
programs may vary depending on the country or region in which they intend to use their degree. We strongly recommend that
international students contact the relevant authorities in their home country to determine the degree equivalency of our programs. It
is the responsibility of the individual student to ensure that their educational credentials are recognized and accepted by the relevant
authorities in their home country, and our university cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies or issues that may arise in this
regard.
15. Charges (if any) for the visa extension or FRRO registration or fulfillment of any other formality, has to be borne by the student only and
shall be the sole responsibility of the student.
16. In case you have been issued any kind of notice or communication that makes you not eligible to stay/study in India, kindly inform the
university before taking admission. In case you still process your application and university is not being informed, your admission would
be cancelled in between your studies and refund (if any) would be processed as per the refund policy of the university.
17. Lovely Professional University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India.
The university is not responsible to provide equivalency of its programme out of India. It is advisable to verify the equivalency in your
home country for the programme you are applying at LPU.
18. This Offer Letter is valid for the session of August 2023 only and cannot be used for the next intake.

Important instructions for reporting at the University

1. You should submit the entire due fee as mentioned in the Offer Letter before reporting at the university. Failing, may lead to
cancellation of the admission.
2. Following documents in original as well as translated in English Language (duly attested) are required to be produced at the time of
reporting for completing the verification process in the applied programme: ‐

3. As per present Government of India guidelines, international students (except Nepal and Bhutan) have to apply for the FRRO within first
14 days of arrival in India. Student must ensure to submit the copy of FRO certificate to the University within 21 days of arrival in India,
failing to which may result in cancellation of the admission and the student shall be himself/herself responsible for all consequences
whatsoever arising due to default/failure in this regard, of sole risk and cost of student only.
