Terms and Conditions of Temporary Contract

For the School Year of 2023-2024

The particulars of your temporary contact as a teacher of the Nine Fruits Bilingual
School are:

For the duration of 08/14/23 to 12/22/23 (Fall semester) and 01/08/24 to 05/31/24
(Spring semester)

Your normal work hours for classes will be from 2:45pm to 6:00pm during the above
terms only (08/14/23 to 12/22/23 and 01/08/24 to 05/31/23). Other assignments/hours
(Kindergartener program 12pm to 3pm, Summer School program, Extended care, Last
week of Spring Semester, Early dismissal Days, etc.) will be assigned only by Nine Fruits
principal Yvette Liu.

All teachers position will be part time based and the wages for all work performed will
be paid by the assigned hourly rate. Wages will be paid in the beginning of each month
by the designated payroll company. You will not be paid for all legal holidays falling
within the school Fall/Spring semesters and falling on a day of the week you would
otherwise be scheduled. The Christmas break (between the end of the Fall semester and
the beginning of the Spring semester) and the summer break (between the end of the
Spring semester and the beginning of the Fall semester) will not be paid unless you are
hired to teach in the Summer School program.

The contract is governed by the rules and regulation of the Nine Fruits and is conditional
upon satisfactory enrollments in your assignment. Should it become necessary to adjust
your class and hours at the start and in the middle of the semester (example: 5-6pm
class) because of an insufficient class due to lack of funds, or because of insufficient
enrollments to shift all or part of your assignment to another class, the School reserves
the right to cancel the contract or to modify its term so as to accommodate these shifts.
The contract may be terminated by either party on thirty days’ notice to the other by
mail addressed to the last known address. New employee will have thirty days
probationary period.

The School may terminated this contract immediately upon written notice as specified,
if, in the opinion of the school, the Teacher becomes physically or mentally disqualified
from performing the terms of this contract.

The contract replaces all other contracts between the Teacher and Nine Fruits, all prior
contracts are otherwise terminated. No modification of this contract shall be valid
unless made in writing and duty signed by the principle.

The teacher shall agree to accept and follow the teacher’s guidelines and agree the
policies. The School reserves the rights to revise and modify the policies as needed to
accommodate needs.

Should there be any question about these terms, please discuss the matter with, Yvette
Liu, before indicating your acceptance. If the above terms are satisfactory, please sign
and return to school, one copy of this contract on or before August 13, 2022. The
second copy is for your file.
