Vector DC Inverter Technology

Hitachi Mini-Splits feature energy-efficient vector DC
inverters that use a special microcomputer pre-installed
with compressor mechanical properties data to monitor
and adjust compressor rotation speed for efficient,
powerful, and stable operation.

These inverters cool with maximum capacity at start-up,

then automatically slow down and operate at minimum
suitable capacity to maintain room temperature at a
comfortable level. This reduces energy consumption by
up to 62% compared to non-inverter units.

All air conditioning units accumulate dust, bacteria,

and other impurities over time. These particles
eventually blow into the room, leading to unhealthy
indoor air. At Hitachi, we’ve solved this problem
with a unique feature, FrostWash, that freezes
impurities in place then washes them safely away.

intelligent human sensor system continually
monitors the room for human activity and
adjusts air flow and climate control accordingly.

Dehumidification
Hitachi Mini-Split Systems ensure comfort by
carefully calibrating temperature and humidity
levels. When set to dehumidification mode, the
unit decreases room humidity¹ by gently cooling
the room.

• When room temperature is higher than

temperature setting, the device reduces
room temperature to the pre-set level.

• When room temperature is lower than

temperature setting, dehumidification
will be performed at a temperature
setting slightly lower than current room
temperature regardless of temperature
setting.
