Developing countries can struggle to develop because their best-skilled labor leaves the economy. Thus
it becomes hard to break the cycle of losing the best workers. Because of this ‘brain drain’ the
developing countries lose in many ways like it Loses potential entrepreneurs. Those who emigrate tend
to be the ablest and willing to take risks. Migrants are potential entrepreneurs who, if they stayed in the
country of origin, might set up a business which would contribute to economic growth and create
employment, It can lead to a shortage of key skilled workers. It is often skilled workers nurses, doctors,
engineers who find it easiest to emigrate to countries with higher incomes. This can leave the original
country short of workers One the biggest issue that we are facing right now is brain drain, it losses
talented individuals in the country. Some Filipinos choose to leave Philippines just to get better
opportunities with different country. Poor quality of life, shortage of economic opportunity are one of
the reason why skilled and talented workers leave. Philippines has many skilled and professional
workers but choose to serve other country because they can’t have better opportunities within our
country.
