Face to face learning is superior to online learning

Coronavirus…… all started in November 2019. Everything was shut down by

March 2020. And the education system became completely online.

A very warm and healthy good morning to all of you. After one year of
experience in online learning, I think we all will agree to the fact that physical
school was much better than online.

The environment created by the teachers and students in a physical

classroom is much better than sitting in our homes confined to the four walls.
Students learn best through the face to face interaction provided by teachers
and peers while attending classes in a classroom environment. It is easier to
engage in person than through our computer screens. As much as a student
may try, there will always be distractions right at their fingertips. When at
home and not in a school setting, people tend to unwind and become lazy
since they have the comfort of their property. Online learning requires much
more discipline and self-motivation to stay on task. All in all, online learning
makes it harder for students to learn as their traditional educational
environment is pretty much gone. Not only that, sitting in front of a screen can
be very tiring, not only for our eyes but also for our posture.

Online learning cannot offer human interaction. This is the biggest curse of
this mode of education. Not even the best online course can fully replace the
personal contact a student have with a teacher. So I truly hope that this period
soon comes to an end. As Martin Luther King Jr, once said, “Only in the
darkness, can you see the stars.” Thus I encourage all of you to try to always
see good in everything and stay positive throughout this pandemic.

Thank You.
