Capacity of beam to be verified for
lifting HAP (2.5 T without oil)
Since the headroom at ESD platform
is not sufficient for free movement of
HPU on trolley, overhead beam
located here will be used for lifting
ESD valve access off HPU from train tolley.
Platform
Once the HPU/equipment is lifted off
from the train trolley, the equipment
will be placed over a pallet or multi
roller.
Provide a temporary
metal plate flooring for
the movement of Pallet
Truck/multiroller upto
new HPU/HAP location
Add: Use metal
plates between the
rollers and the skid
for ease of
transportation and
protection of the
equipment
Rephrase:
Once the HPU/HAP is skidded to this location over the rollers, pallet
jacks can be used to maneuver and place the equipment over the
structural frame available.

Option ‐1.1 : HPU & HAP transfer & Installation Loading ArmsBlock / Heavy‐duty Scaffolding
Qualifications and Methodology (4 Nos.)
(To be confirmed by Construction Contractor)
1. The shifting of equipment from Warehouse to Jetty station
shall be arranged by construction contractor in safe manner.
It is advised by BLNG to exclude Warehouse transfer from
scope of this study.
2. Each equipment shall be mobilized without oil.
3. If required, reduce equipment weight & height by partial dis-
assembling the equipment. TFMC to be consulted for
possible dis-assembling at Warehouse.
4. Once dimensions and weight are confirmed; load the 2
equipment on the Wagon and secure it properly to ensure no HAP
damage during transport.
5. Proper wooden pallets to be used on Wagon floor to keep
equipment safely without wooden box. TROLLEY TROLLEY
6. Proper protection of equipments during transport shall be
ensured by Construction Contractor.

be secured properly. In case of any Packing needed, this has Approach way
to be ensured based on OEM recommendations. using Rail Car
8. Railcar speed has to be maintained significantly lower while Trolley
equipment transportation using Wagon.
9. At Jetty Deck Level, install a temporary A-frame with chain
pulley block / Heavy-duty scaffolding to move equipment
from Trolley to designated location at site.
10. Unit will be re-assembled at Installation location by
contractor
Pros:
- Units can be taken straight to installation site.
- Minor lift near installation area
- No vessel or crane requirement.
Cons:
- Disassembling & installation related risks
- ESD-1 bridge headroom clearance.
- Oil unload and loading requirement. LEGENDS
